Is he Champ Bailey in his prime no. But DRC is still young and not yet in his prime. He has shown the ability to make big plays and stop drives. No corner including Champ Bailey can shutdown when the setup today was no Pass rush, great running game, and Qb having time to read 3 chapters of War and Peace. Get real. One was a poor call and the other was an uncatchable ball. That is why Billick said he didn't know about the call.

Best corner we have had in a while. Very talented and will only get better. Very few shutdown corners in the league but DRC has played very well for us and having been to a pro bowl at his age is an accomplishment. Again, he is not one of our problems on D whether you like him or not.

Not one of his best efforts today. Hardly what I noticed about the D though.

If you read my posts instead trying to annoy people for the sake of it you would see I don't believe he had a good game. Not a good game for anyone on D. We have far bigger problems on D than DRC.

Why is it that anytime a player on the team is criticized for a poor game the excuse made for him is that everyone else played poorly too? But in the positives from today's game thread the same posters will list like 16 guys who played well.

Aeneas Williams played for years with a bunch of hacks who didn't even belong in the NFL and who seldom if ever played well and he still had great games.

Just ask Michael Irvin.

AW a true professional and true all pro is a perfect analogy of just how good a cb can be when the rest of the D blows. Good job duck. No matter what and without question you could count on AW to show up and do his job well no matter the circumstances!

Asomugha has done fine in Oakland with zero pass rush for the majority of his elite career. I would've hoped that DRC reached that level by now but alas. He is DeAngelo Hall 2.0, he shows flashes of his potential a lot of the time but never ends up reaching it.

What the hell are you talking about? You made the player comparison with AW. I never compared DRC with anyone. DRC is a good player that hopefully will be great with the talent he has. He had a sub par day but not near as bad as indicated by some in this thread. And yes the pass rush does impact CB success and today we had none.
