This. All this. The way this changes our iso capability alone makes this trade gargantuan. The numbers discussed in this video don’t lie. And his point about timing and what you have to give to take your shot is all spot on.

Exactly.

I posted it to quell some of the naysayers. Sure, it's still a gamble injury-wise, but EVERY team carries that gamble.

45 pts from Bridges last night.

that trade was robbery
One game. Bridges is going to be the top scorer on that team going forward, and they will be in the playoffs, and they will be a sort of dark horse danger there because there will be that playing really loose, low expectation situation. Both teams won that trade. Its very much like that KJ, Mark West, TyCorbin for Larry Nance trade.

funny... you didn't come here and post that when Bridges crapped the bed and missed an easy layup with no time left in his first loss with Brooklyn. And i don't remember you coming here and saying this after he scored a whopping 7 POINTS in the second loss playing for Brooklyn.

I'm not saying it was an impossible shot but calling it "easy" is a stretch. When you consider the angle he drove from, the clock and the presence of Embiid a lot of players would have rushed that shot release. Especially role players that aren't put in positions like that very often.

Brooklyn Bridges is young, KD is hurt and old. Suns lost the trade

I definitely don't agree with the idea that Phoenix was in the way. Sure he didn't need to play that way with offensive talent like Ayton, Booker and CP around. Sure he can put up some numbers when he is hands down the #1 option, but will his teams ever be all that good if he is the #1 option? I doubt it, but I guess time will tell.

He had 7 points the game before on 2-8 shooting.

Mikail has been really good this year and a big night scoring isn't surprising but then he has stinkers too.

If KD's age and injuries keep him off the court a lot, we lost this trade big time. If KD is a factor for us in a couple of postseasons, that's a different story. It will mean the picks we gave up weren't very valuable and we'd have likely won a title or two. IOW, it's far too early to say we lost or win this trade.

Ironic ain't it. They show up because we got Durant, and all they do is complain about getting rid of Mikal. LOL

I don't want to run down Mikail. He is a great 4th guy on a team right now and could become a 2 guy but probably lands as a good third star. I fully expect he makes an all star team now that he is in New York.

We needed to get a 2 guy now before CP3 retires. It's literally that simple. The goal is to win a championship in the next 2 years.
