Is he washed up, or could we possibly sign him? Tre Boston is an UFA & i have no idea if he will be back, we just lost DB & Bethea. We need another safety. The Chiefs released Eric Berry today.

I think Budda is moving back to safety although I like the idea of him playing nickel and bringing back Boston, or maybe signing Clinton-Dix although I'm sure it's unlikely.

Played 4 games in 2 years.

Can’t help from the training table.
Wow, I didn't realize he had been hurt? I pay more attention to our team, didn't even realize he more than likely didn't play when we played the Chiefs this season? They actually hung close for about 2.5 quarters in that game. Another frustrating performance to watch as the game went on.

I heard on free agent frenzy (NFL network) this morning that Clinton-Dix would more than likely sign with another team. Can't remember which one but it wasn't us?

He is as tough as they come. He was blowing coverage and people wondered what was wrong. Turns out he was playing with a serious case of cancer. He beat cancer, came back, but has struggled with injuries. A true iron man but whoever takes him is going to have a lot of games with Eric Berry in sweatpants on the sideline

He is def a fighter. But on NFL network work they were saying that he saw the specialist Dr. Richard Anderson I think? Whom told him that his issue is not serious and doesn't require surgery and he could play on it. More of a pain management type of thing. Which the team told him and yet he still opted tp not play. They gave the impression it put them at odds.

I think we should add a safety, preferably one that could play single high. Berry is more strong than free in my opinion. But I'm sure we could make adjustments for a talent like him

Right there with Ed Reed collegiately at his position.

Agreed.

The NFL version of Ed Reed is on another planet tho.

As for Eric Berry, IF he could stay healthy, I would sell the farm to have him play here.

Actually, Rugby, I would be inclined to take the chance. Like you said, if he can stay healthy he can be a stud. If he can stay healthy he can also play for many more years, and reportedly the doctors has told him that he can play with his current injury instead of having surgery. If I was Keim I would give it a shot.
