CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports there is a "very good chance" free agent NT Dontari Poe signs a one-year, prove-it deal.

Poe's back is causing concern among interested teams, according to ESPN's Ed Werder, so Poe apparently will ink a one-year deal and try to stay healthy in order to hit the market again next year. The Falcons continue to be linked to Poe. Assistant GM Scott Pioli drafted Poe in Kansas City.

GO GET HIM GO GET HIM GO GET HIM

one of the best NTs in the league. No risk 1 year contract

I ufck'n hate NE!!! That is all.

Don't hate the playa, hate the game. Their front office just happens to play it better than the rest. These are probably deals any team could make but fail to do so. NE just seems to be so much more creative than most. They are also not afraid of trading away players they think will be problems to sign and getting something in return (i.e. Collins and Jones).

Is it just me or is the 2017 FA extremely anti-climactic?? The biggest signings the last 48 hours came with players leaving our team. You've got a few WRs (DJax, Pryor) and a Kirk Cousins sighting but nothing really to have a meaty discussion about...

Last year, we had the likes of Vernon, Malik Jackson, Alex Mack, Irvin (who was connected to us at some point), Janoris Jenkins, etc.

Aside from Hightower, who is most likely going to Ten or back to NE, is there anyone out there left that we can make a play on that would have an immediate impact, or should we just tune out until Draft week?

Shefter said Garappolo is untouchable.

Imagine they traded him for a 1st and 2nd then traded for Cooks and re-signed Butler. I'd think Vegas would have their O/U at 14.5 wins.
