They did a great job this year, they were definitely ready for the bigger crowd. $1.50 for dogs, sodas and popcorn, plus regular price for other stuff, didn’t see any lines longer then 2 or 3 people for food. My son had a blast, autographs and kids area were much more organized then last year. They had some old jersey's and such on sale for Cardinals Charities, $75 for game used jersey's no huge stars, but a big assortment. With the whole lower level open people got to spread out, they say there were 12k there, it was hard to judge but the parking lot looked like it could’ve been that many. After last year I vowed to never go back, but it was the kid’s bday and he wanted to go, and I’m glad we did, it was just as good as they used to be in Tempe.

A few random thoughts: It was MUCH better than last year. Opening up the entire lower level for seating and having a system for autographs helped a lot.

Carson Palmer is TALL. He has much more presence on the field than I expected. The coaches ran some drills with two QB's throwing simultaneously which I hadn't seen previously.

Fitz is thinner than he was this time last year. Every move he made got a reaction from the crowd. You guys will be happy to know that he still attracts a LOT of girls in shorts.

It was great to see Karlos back in a Cards uniform. He got a big round of applause from the fans.

They gave out the Pro-Bowl framed jerseys but it was hard to see the ceremony as they had them facing the end-zone.

Arians didn't wear a driving cap. He did wear a lot of zinc oxide on his nose which gave him a definite California Surfer 1962 look.

Housler is still the best looking player in the NFL.

And next year they REALLY need to get new souvenir cups. I got one with Kolb for God's sake. Really? Kolb? On my genuine buck-fifty souvenir Coke cup at Fan Fest 2013?

And Feely didn't do a thing but talk. No kicking practice. Thankfully for him there were plenty of people to talk to.

Cups - I think they were trying to unload a bunch from last year's season. Lol.

A few observations:

Carson Palmer looked really impressive. Good to have a proper QB on the field again. We better hope he can stay healthy though, as Stanton would have fitted in well with last year's crop. He's equally inaccurate and throws bullets lacking touch.

Mendenhall looked good, practices hard on every play. Reminds me of Fitz with that work effort. I was suitably impressed and pleased.

Brinkley was doing the communicating for the backers and Rashad Johnson for the DBs (not Bell). Bowles was right there with his defense and looks like he has built good chemistry. Reggie Walker made quite a few plays and Mathieu has an amazing ability to leap vertical, getting up there to knock away a ball from Larry.

Overall this team is going as far as Palmer can take them but that's the best we've had since Warner was here.
