Skelton increased his completion percentage by 7.3 points, his YPA average by 1.7 yards, and his passer rating by 6.6 points. It's not like Skelton didn't improve, even without an offseason and a training camp that can be charitably described as limited.

It's not like he's not getting better.

Kolb improved on his career YPA by 0.6 yards and career passer rating by 4.4 points, but underachieved against his career completion percentage by 1.7 points.

Well when your % was under 50 last year it's pretty hard NOT to improve on it as opposed to Kolb.

But I do agree Skelton clearly showed progress, just not in that one area he was still throwing the ball high all the time.

Where is that crazy guy who yesterday posted Fitz is over rated? Since that post he has been named as am all pro for about 7 years in a row and made some more remarkable catches. To me he remains the greatest Card receiver of all time and certainly not overrated

If a receiver can catch the ball then the QB did his job be it a Fitz or Doucet. It makes sense that any QB would be throwing mostly to a perennial all star.

not sure about that Russ. Fitz, I believe, had a career season with all of the passes he caught this year.

My feelings are that if John was the QB from the start of the season we would have made the playoffs and Fitz might have had his usual 100 catches this year. But what the hell do I know. Kolb could never get the ball to Fitz it seemed.
