I disagree. I don't think it's a "fact" at all. It's your opinion. I'd argue that he's not playing and warner's new contract is less about Leinart and more about Warner. I don't think you're giving Warner enough credit.
I'd argue that it defintiely is an indictment of where the team feels Leinart is at. You dont sign a 38 year old QB to a two year starting salary contract, when you already have a VERY HIGH PROFILE 4 year veteran sitting on the bench with whom you are completely comfortable with taking the reigns. That would be a gross misuse of salary cap funds to say the least.
