Rome does have that cocky smart ass attitude and seems to think he's always right (although I have heard him admit that he was wrong before) but sometimes he is absolutely hilarious, especially when talking about soccer or making fun of a guy who got himself in trouble or did something stupid on the field or whatever.

Overall, I like him. And as Cardinals fans, you all should too... Like I said he's the only national sports guy I know of that defended the team and I remember a couple weeks ago on Jim Rome is Burning just after the Panthers win he said the team referred to as the worst playoff team ever is about to be the worst Super Bowl team ever (mocking all the people who said that) because they will beat Philly. And he was right!

The most annoying and biggest scam on the radio. 90% of what he says or does isnt even his own thoughts, its him reading emails from his fans. Its his fans that write the show not him. It takes him 10 minutes to get out a single sentance with his minute pauses between words. Worst voice in sports today, he is a fraud.

Yep, great interview and I think Larry and the rest of the team really has no problem with Q and understand where he was coming from and know he wans to win. The last thing we need is for the media to blow something like that way out of proportion and it end up being a distraction but the team is handling it perfectly and I think we will be ready to go to war on game day.

Rome hammered Larry hard on the Q issue. To recap Larry didn't think it was a big deal, said it happens all the time and that nobody noticed it in the past as we were never on the national stage (pretty funny).

Said Q and Haley were in talking in the Offense meeting yesterday as if nothing ever happened.

Also said if he was in a foxhole the one guy he'd want next to him was number 81.

They talked about Larry's performances in the playoffs so far, his enthusiasm on the field in the playoffs that he's never really shown before, the loss to New England, the incident with Q on the sideline and leaving early from the post game celebration, and Kurt Warner's inspiration for the team.

Larry is such a great guy I love his personality (a lot like mine) just get it done and not in a flashy or showoff type of way and just a low key kinda quiet personality. Great interview.

Needless to say, I despise the guy. There are perhaps one or two other "sports" personalities that I might hate more, but Rome is real close to top!

It is kinda funny how much people hate Rome. I know I have been defending him somewhat, but I haven't listened to him on a regular basis
since my job required me to drive all around Arizona.

I am just so cool that I can see both sides of the Rome phenomenon.
