or...Kyler Murray should NOT have been a first round pick...I mean, if he can't carry a team why take him #1?

This post is ridiculous. A great QB can’t do it without horses and a team that plays on the other side of the ball. This team has a ton of holes and that includes this coaching staff.

Yet KM as a rookie is supposed to? Get some perspective.

I'm sorry...you go ahead and compare 0 win Kyler Murray to other Hall of Fame QBs while your at it. Compare him to Brady. How about Joe Montana? You are correct. I am the one being silly here.

Nobody is saying that KM is comparable to a HOF QBs overall career. There are other highly drafted QBs that had slow starts and went on to have good careers.

Yes...you are being beyond silly with your posts or the concept is sailing over your noggin.

When was the last time a rookie qb, even number one overall, was told to start day one and won games like a 10 year vet and took his team to the playoffs as a rookie, Ill wait.
Only guy was Andrew Luck.

Bidwill seems convinced we could do the same thing. I think the team is betting on Kyler getting better as the year progresses.

My problem is a lot of issues we had the first 3 weeks could have possibly been avoided if we took preseason seriously.

Maybe we score a couple more TDs in the redzone against the Ravens.

Maybe we don't start off sooooo slow against the Lions.

Just went about it wrong.

Losing by two touchdowns is a step back? Yeah okay ;).

I get that the defense looked downright awful. (personally I think VJ should be on the hot seat cause of lack of TE coverage).

But mind you we are only 3 weeks into the season so there's a chance of improvement. We knew this coming into the season that there will be growing pains with a rookie QB and HC.

To an 0-2 team at home with its back up QB that couldn’t move the ball last week? Yeah...

It's something us pro Murray peeps will have to face all season unless he turns into the next Tom Brady. Just the reality of it all. Comes with the territory of being the number one pick as well...so I guess I kinda get it.

Wish it were an every play vid (good and bad. Not just highlights)

However, he was playing really well prior to the Sherfield drop...

2nd straight bad 4th Qrt. It just highlighted more when Allen was carving us up all game.

THe NFL record for pass attempts in a season is 727 by Matthew Stafford in his 4th season.

Kyler is currently on pace to throw 730 passes this season.

I don't think that's going to hold up his attempts are going to come down because I think Kliff will realize this isn't college and he has to do some other things too, but again what we're seeing is sort of unprecedented for an NFL rookie QB.

I am saying these are the same arguments that were made to keep Rosen. I should know, I made them.

This thread is comical. After everything this team has been through, this game, TODAY, is the ball crusher? Lmao. Hilarious.

Def not a low point for a franchise but is it a step towards me just checking the score instead of watching 100%. What I thought would be at least a fun offense to watch is mostly just aggravating. I think many people agree based on the empty seats and ones filled by panther fans in the stadium. That place will be a ghost town come November when the team has 1 or 2 wins.

Lmao. Rosen showed nothing. NOTHING. Kyler has shown a ton of promise. But hey, a lot of you clowns are gonna go down swinging on this topic for some reason. It's baffling but just is another example of how this board is just a shell of it's former self.

It is pretty funny when you had a guy who was cut from the practice squad last year bagging groceries hit you with a 144.4 passer rating and look like Joe Montana in his prime .

If that's true then you had unrealistic expectations coming into the season. The team won 3 games last year and in one off-season you guys want the playoffs or just blow everything up? It's a joke really.

After a couple of beers I'm willing to talk you off the ledge @Broseph

1. Carolina should probably be 3-0. Cam playing hurt/being inaccurate cost them the Rams game and Bucs game.

2. If we had Patrick Peterson I think we'd be 2-1 right now.

3. I'm not sure about the division. Not saying we can win it....but Seahawks still struggle offensively. Rams although undfeated really do seem like they are having a SB hangover (again Cam blew the Rams game, Brees got hurt last week, etc.) 49ers...sorry not buying them yet.

Once we get over botching preseason we'll be fine. I believe we'll be up to speed in a few weeks.

Carolina had 10 days off. I'd argue when right at the QB spot they are a top 5 NFC team. Guys have been open all season (Norv is an excellent play designer) They just hit on them today.

We just had a physical game with Baltimore and our secondary got worse. We should be ok.

We lost to 2-1 Detriot. 2-1 Baltimore and a QB sneak away from being 2-1 Carolina.

We'll be ok.

I don't think you understand what I am saying, but whatever. Rosen sucked and despite a lack of support and coaching we didn't win. Murray, despite being drafted higher and playing better, has not been good and we still aren't winning. Like I said, the pro-Murray crowd should probably just wait until Murray actually wins a game to call people clowns, say that they don't know football, and take victory laps. Until that time, understand that however I sound to you is how you sound to me.

I don't know what to make of KM yet, but I am confident he is better than Josh Rosen.

They lost to a pretty pedestrian Bucs team who just lost to the Giants.

Easily, but as I have said, better than bad does not equal good. Kyler can be better than Rosen and still fail this franchise.

All I wanted was something that was worth watching like a team that throws up a ton of points in the air raid. Havent seen that. The player who has performed the best on this team is the kicker. I said from jump this was a 5 win team. I think I was prob too high on that but at least give me something to look forward to. I got nothing.

The case for keeping Rosen had a lot to do with getting a nightmare defensive player #1.

So far the Cards, Niners and Jets fans are bitching about their pick.

Would have beat the Bucs if they did a QB sneak to win the game. Bucs would have beat the Giants if not for their kicker. Its the NFL so any team can catch fire.

My hope is that not being for real about preaseason is the reason for a lack of points.

Kliff and Kyler learning what works.

I went crazy but I knew there was going to be some growing pains with a rookie qb, head coach, and perhaps the worst team in the league last year as far as depth and personnel. His play will be up and down because our line stinks, no consistent run game, and receivers with defenders drapped all over them. Brees and Brady wouldn't fare will behind this team. KM had a bad game. But he was dinking and dunking because he didn't have time to throw down the field.
Our receivers have defenders draped all over them because for the most part Kyler needs to get rid of the ball in 2.25 seconds. They have no time to create separations. We are relying on YAC. We desperately need to have some max protection once in a while and give our wr's some time to get downfield and open spots.

I think the offense just won’t work. You need to stretch the field and not just when you’re down by multiple scores or when there’s less than a minute left in a half. Every play is near the LOS and they aren’t even using rub routes to get people open. The middle of the field needs to be used more, a lot more.
