As a result of the Ariza signing, we will be waiving Big Sauce.

Warren has to be a goner now, right?

I don't hate it that much but I'm not a fan either. I guess that means Williams will be waived because we can't sign Ariza for $15 million if we keep him.

I would have preferred Mbah a Moute, if we were shopping for forwards on the Rockets though. He could have played PF for us without going really small.

I think a Warren trade become much more likely. Right now I am not thrilled with the Ariza deal.

This is actually a great move. Defense, shooting, experience, and he will expire along with Duds and Chandler after this season.

Plus, we weaken the Rockets.

Without a doubt, the Suns have to have a trade in place for a PG. Dragic? Kemba? Lowry? Or maybe a S&T for Van Vleet? Or maybe they're involved in a potential 3 way with Spurs and Lakers while picking up Lonzo? Gotta be something.

At least its it's a one year deal and next summer we will have a ton of cap space. Gotta think there's a trade lined up..

Let's hope.

At least it wasn’t some knee jerk reaction like BK. The Suns must have had this planned for days.

Does weakening the Rockets really matter for us right now? We're not taking their playoff spot next year, we're not even competing with them for a playoff spot. They're guaranteed to be going to the postseason while we'll struggle to get there. Weakening a team would only make sense if it was one of the fringe playoff teams in the West.

I think I would rather keep TJ.

I like Warren more than most of the posters here but I'm okay with moving on. He's just had too many mysterious "injuries" in his short career and with Bridges poised to take his place, we might as well trade him for a PG.

More evidence that a trade may be going down.
