That's enough for me. Let's get Milos.

I wonder what the Clippers will want.

It's an interview with a Serbian website...There was ZERO chance Igor would say anything remotely negative about a Serbian legend. Milos is an interesting backup plan, but I'd be surprised if the Suns view him as anything more than that, and I like Teodosic.

This will hurt my hair discussion. :hammer:

The Suns reportedly do not have interest in Milos after all.

He said earlier today they did have interest, I almost posted it but decided I'd bashed him too much recently to use him as a source. Here is the tweet though. It does read more like speculation but that's fine since this other doesn't really sell it much either. One thing that seems to bypassed by Gambo completely is how Milos Teodosic will be a free agent on the 15th or 16, after clearing waivers, and if we still have a spot open and haven't signed a PG then he could be the go to option. It is a little over 2 weeks into free agency.

Scott Bordow almost leads us to the same conclusion.

I do give Gambo credit for trying to get the story straight by talking to another source.

Speculation of course.

There is the issue with Gambo. The first tweet he posted was his opinion about what he thinks makes sense for the Suns. It was clearly his opinion. He was not saying they have interest. The second was info he is getting about their interests. You have to be able to tell the difference. Gambo's opinion is worthless. His info is decent.

I was listening when he changed stances. It kind of sounded like he got a text mid-show; he sounded really confident.

It makes sense that the Suns would not pursue Milos. Three point guard spots, and two are taken up by Okobo and Knight. You need that third guy to be a starter. It's why Ulis is expendable, why Payton is a bad target, and why Milos (great back-up, unreliable starter) is not a great option either.

It's a good distinction to make.

Id imagine the we (the Clippers) have a few moves lined up. Seems to me they already know what they are doing with DJ (or if he is opting out) based on the Gortat deal. I would think Milos figures into those plans here in the next week or so.

No need to bore with the hypotheticals, but Milos wont be on the roster next season. Clippers also have a TPE exception expiring before Friday, so there could be another move or two on the horizon, especially if DJ opts in before the Friday deadline.

I get that one was his opinion but the 2nd seemed to contradict his opinion, saying people discussing Milos as an option for the Suns have blown things out of proportion and it's unlikely they go after him. That's all well and fine but he had just got done being one of the people proposing a match. Then he says the Suns have little interest, if any, and they won't likely be suitors. It's just handled poorly on his end. I get one is an opinion though and the other seemed more official but he didn't accept any responsibility for starting the Milos/Suns sort of hype machine. I know people here had discussed it but the talk about the team here is generally a bit different than you see on Twitter, RealGM, or Reddit.

OK. I get that. His opinion is definitely fickle. Thats because he just is not good about basketball.

I wish we had better local sports teams as far as sports talk radio goes. I remember I used to listen all the type when it was Bickley & MJ, Gambo & Ash, Rock & Manuch, and there was one pretty good pairing but I can't recall it currently. I know there was also Bill or Bob who did a solo show in the afternoons on 1060, I want to say. Back then sports talk was 910, 1060, and one other station. It's been downhill for a while. They've juggled all of their programs and teams.

I listen more to national programming than local and the Suns don't get much coverage unless they're using a team as a bad example, which is disheartening. I wish Bordow had a show but sadly we don't have anyone who does good Suns coverage. Maybe if we start winning we'll see a change of sorts. It really can't get much worse, IMO.

The Ringer has an article up about the 7 most intriguing Restricted Free Agents this summer. It's kind of odd how most of them are tweeners, except for the C's Capella and Nurkic. Gordon, Parker, and Randle all have the versatility that they should be capable of playing PF and SF. Randle is probably the best PF of the bunch but none are ideal options. I really hope we don't do something stupid and go after LaVine. Never understood the hype with him. He can dunk and he's super athletic, making him a younger Gerald Green. If any have their rights renounced or qualifying offers pulled then it could get interesting but I'm not sure it's worth it for the Suns to go all in on any of them. Maybe Randle, since the Lakers are probably least likely to match a good sized offer.

Clint Capela - C - Rockets
Marcus Smart - G - Celtics
Julius Randle - F - Lakers
Aaron Gordon - F - Magic
Jabari Parker - F - Bucks
Zach LaVine - G - Bulls
Jusef Nurkic - C - Blazers

On second look:

Good morning #Cavs fans - your biggest clue will fall today involving a trade by the Phoenix suns. Goodbye @KingJames . Thanks for the memories

4:37 AM - Jun 28, 2018

Not necessarily involving the Cavs. I wonder who we could acquire not from the Cavs that would crush their hope of retaining Lebron?

Kemba?
Kawhi?

I would think the trade would be another team clearing cap space for James with a trade.

Zero chance the Suns are trading for Love.

My gut tells me it will be the Lakers trading us Ball.....

This is exciting stuff if it happens. I read somewhere the Lakers need a first round pick maybe for the Leonard trade. Could that be the Bucks pick? It seems like a bit much with Deng's contract.

Suns would surely be asking for Lonzo.

Hopefully we're just helping facilitate something with Chandler or Dudley. We've started to turn the corner already, no need to try an accelerate things by acquiring Kevin Love. Outside of Love they have Sexton to offer but that isn't all too appealing with 2 other big name rookies headed into next season.

McD has done too good of a job keeping things quiet during his tenure. I have a hard time believing this many people know of a deal happening before it actually takes place. At least I hope it's all smoke and mirrors right now.
