Well the Hornets just cant put the ball in the basket. They are killing us on the boards and our offense is still ugly. Don't see the big improvement for the Suns.

Waters are getting pretty rough out there, gotta keep your composure when you have the lead.

Frye has been a monster on the boards tonight with 14 rebounds. He has learned to contribute when his shot is not falling.

I agree big time, while being out rebounded tonight he has been fighting for every rip. I did laugh at the air ball though.:D

Morris was benched after two quick fouls, which gave Warrick the opportunity to shine on offense and Frye to grab 15 rebounds. He never came back in, as we built a lead. I give credit to Gentry for sticking with the hot hands.

But we know that Warrick's defense will do him in and Frye is not going to average 15 boards a game and, apparently, be the 3-point shooter he has been in the past.

I expect that Gentry will give Morris the opportunity to grow. With Lopez' shooting as his only strong point, Morris is the ideal man to play alongside him, with his strong defense and rebounding.

Come on, the offense was still bad, but the energy and defense was much improved. I'm not just saying that because the Hornets shot 29%. It seemed like they really had to work hard to get near the basket or get an open shot on every possession.

I thought even Nash was doing a pretty good job on Jack.

Hornets weren't just missing open shots. Every shot they took seemed to be a last ditch effort with a hand directly in their face.

I have been on the Elston Turner bandwagon for a while now and he's starting to prove why.

We're starting to become a really good defensive team. In all 3 games this season we played well on defense and today we were outstanding. New Orleans shot 29% which is the 2nd lowest for a Suns opponent and the worst for the Hornets in franchise history.

Turner is changing the theme in PHX from offense to defense.

The Hornets were awful. I can't believe Okafor was a 2nd overall pick.

Okafor had 10 pts & 16 boards didnt he?

Thats a better performance some of his fellow 2nd overall picks Darko Millic, OJ Mayo, Evan Turner etc.

Yeah, but they were also minus their most talented player, Eric Gordon. As for Okafor, I can't believe there was so much debate that year over him vs. Howard.

No one had any idea Howard would turn out to have one of the best work ethics in the league. He completely transformed himself and his body. This is what you hope you get from drafting really young guys with loads of potential. Occasionally you get Bynum instead.

However, I believe the Hornet beat the Celtics without Gordon.

I've heard several different comments about how long it will take Redd to be ready to play. Maybe up to 2-3 weeks. I think it depends upon his conditioning. I think he could be out there earlier.
