Stanton looking like 2016 edition, during which he seemed to be doing an imitation of Derek Anderson when he was QB here - balls sailing high most of the time, in some other errant direction the rest of the time. And after last week's performance, all the press was ready to anoint him the solid #2, based on one performance. Tonight he undid anything positive he did last week.

Just saying... Gabbert at the least is our number 2 QB in the future, guy's light seems to be coming on in this offense

Keeping Stanton over Gabbert at the 2 spot will be another somewhat ominous sign that BA might be a little toostubborn about "his guys" (Amos, CJ) for his own good.

That's not to say Gabbert is good or anything, but Stanton is just trash. The team won games in spite of him three years ago.
