Two of our big studs on O have fumbled and of course we don't seem to recover fumbles this year.

Palmer has MF and Fitz very open deep and over throws them?!?!?!?!?! I mean even if CP under throws them the DB wouldn't have caught back up, that's how open they were.

D is playing like crap, let's see Bettcher make half time adjustments like last week.

This looks like same old cards. Really not happy.

I'm officially concerned about this team. It's not just this game. We have a large enough sample size to draw conclusions. On defense we seem to be a front running team. On offense we're inconsistent, but only when it matters: I.E. Situational football.

Can't agree with all of this. The O has screwed up a bunch but this D hasn't played well either.

Fitz has one bad play for every 100 good ones so yes he gets a bit of a pass.

The defense gave up 20 pts in the 1st half. That's on the defense and Bettcher. We have players that thrive playing an aggressive style and we come out playing soft zones in critical downs.

the team as a whole is mentally weak.

Talented players make plays...true.

but winning teams have average players that just make "The" play every single time.....we need our guys to just make the play

I wouldn't be shocked if the Cards win this game. That said there is no valid excuse for the pass/run ratio of this game. Johnson is averaging nearly 4 yards a carry and the Cards just keep throwing. Does anyone game plan based on the YTD performance of the opposition? I'm not so critical of Betcher. It's hard to be a new DC and have no legitimate pass rushing threat. The opposition can throw with impunity. I will say I'd blitz more. The trouble is these OLBs have trouble dropping back in coverage on stunts. Blitzes with this group are all or nothing.

our offense lives by the big play....they can surely come back and win this one...by 20 even......will it happen?? who knows...

You said the same thing earlier in the game and the stats showed we were balanced. We are behind and started throwing more, but it's not totally out of whack yet
