Thanks for policing us on our game-day thread. Right or wrong none of us should post with any emotion on a message board dedicated to following our team.

LIAC it or not, Nicklas is going to be a major weapon for this team as his injuries are healed and as he gets into the flow of the offense.
He, Fells, and Momah if he comes back to form will be very formidable as a position group.

People who actually follow the draft know that this was a very good and very timely pick when it was made, although Nicklas screwed up by coming out a year too early. He was always going to be a third year riser.

It's the gameday thread where we all cheer like we were at the game. I have no problem with anyone getting excited or upset.

Some of the dumb mistakes this team makes will age a person. We are all loyal and die hard fans.

We all remember the old days when we couldn't come back or hold a lead because we would shoot ourselves in the foot. So every bad play hurt. The blood pressure would be sky high. Remember the Bears game when we squandered the lead on national TV? That's the kind of game we remember.

Just hope LIAC really didn't break his TV. Lol

This is a good post, but all I can think of is my wife going off in the first half, then Palmer takes a shot while passing it to Fitz, who then stiff arms his man, and my sweet, innocent wife starts yelling, "Yeah, throat him Fitz, don't let him hit your quarterback, throat his ass!"

the team is the 2nd half looked like the ones the last two years. the team in the 1st half looked like the old ugly days.

This. A tale of two halves. One half drove me crazy and the second half drove me less crazy. All in all, very entertaining and nerve wracking!

I think today's announcers would be great for a golf tournament, not a football game. Quiet, no excitement.

Have you guys ever checked out the azcardinals.com forum? It's flat-out embarrassing. The football knowledge over there is about 10 orders of magnitude lower than is present here, and there are about 50x more stupid pissing matches going on constantly over silly stuff. This dude seems like a pretty typical poster from over there. Sad.

All I know is we're 6-2 at the break, with the bye coming at the perfect time to get some guys rested and healed, then head into a brutal schedule for the second half, with 3 of 4 at home to look forward to down the stretch. Good times!

I think Cooley will be ok once he gets more experience.

Matt "Money" Smith was talking on his radio show, Friday, that this would be his first time as a lead broadcaster...He's normally used as sideline reporter, or for college games...not NFL. He was definitely nervous on Friday. He also hosts FFL show on NFL Network.

Feeling silly about now?

not at all... the team is mentally weak. It is the only explanation for not being able to put together a competent first half against an inferior opponent.

When BA came here he said, "The cardinals will not beat the Cardinals".....but so far that is all we have seen this season.... nobody else has beaten this team....our penalties are far better than they once were but the focus and discipline to just make the routine play is lacking with this team.

folks can disagree...that is fine...does not make my assessment any more or less true.....but based on my experience that is what I see with this team.

Cooley definitely has potential. Smart guy and well spoken.

Already better than some of the ones we have had previously. I think he gets better as he gets game time.
