Well, both of the Cards last 2 coaches have done the same thing in similar situations...Whis did it more than once, including the 1st playoff game against ATL. So, never say never.

No, she was the one that lost track of what down it was early in the game. She forgot to move her whistle strap over a finger...still hot though.

We were favored by 8, win by 6. Sounds like it played out more or less as it should have. Yet we were HORRENDOUS in all phases of the game, and the Niners brought their A-game, for it to turn out this way.

Sure glad I'm not a professional gambler.

Niner board is full of angst over the officiating. I don't think either team benefitted overall, there were calls that were bad both ways.

And we would be saying the same thing. Refs are out to get us.

But their flags were obvious.

These games happen. Palmer sucked all game and the offensive line sucked. But the defense picked it up and dominated this game. We're a good team. That, and we won, and that's all that matters. I'd rather they learn after a tough win than a stupid loss.

Yup...Even Kurt's Superbowl team in AZ left more than a few turds on the field. Only difference being they usually lost, when laying a turd.

Winning an ugly game like this may actually be a blessing. BA will use this to his advantage to rip the team and tell them they aren't as good as they think they are. They won't play like this next week at STL.

The one I thought we really were fortunate with was the 2nd down sack on Palmer that was called a personal foul.

Agree with this. All those shots inside the 5, and other calls which kept our drives alive. Especially many of the calls on our final, 85 yard drive.
