You could tell by his reaction on the sideline that Williams ran the wrong route & Golden made no attempt to pull the 2nd one away from the defender. If that were Fitz, it was a completion & 1st down. This has to be one of the worst WR groups in Cardinal history.

Even healthy this team was questionable. With all the injuries they are bad.

Totally agree. Something is very, very wrong with this team. And I believe it’s systemic as the majority of the club looks like it’s simply going through the motions (watching other games I see bad teams, but no team that looks as consistently listless). Arians had such a terrific run for three seasons, but it appears that the team no longer listens to him and/or respects him. My guess? The lack of coaching accountability has worn thin with the players.

The long TD hurt, but PP sure isn't the problem!

PP played Hopkins really well... Hopkins should've been flagged for offensive pass interference at least 3 times & flagged another time for putting his hands in Peterson's facemask. Hochuli & his crew strike again though between those non-calls & the phantom hi-low block called against Adrian Peterson. At the end of the 3rd qtr, the penalties were 9/85 yards against the Cards & 3/7yards against the Texans.

It's still not why we lost the game (although if those penalties were called against Hopkins then maybe they punt instead of getting 1-2 of their TDs), we had no running game, our receivers outside of Fitz & Seals Jones couldn't catch the ball & our defense struggled getting off the field on 3rd down.

I came away decently impressed with Gabbert until he started forcing throws in the last 5 minutes of the 4th when we were down 10. Fitz, Seals Jones & Budda Baker were all really impressive too. Baker forced 2 fumbles and made solid tackles... he looked like how the Honey Badger used to look in 2015.

Can we include Keim too? He has to take responsibility for the personnel. His failed early round picks are one of the reasons we sucked so fast.

Hopkins is a freak. Probably a top 3 WR. We should feel so fortunate he had only 3 receptions.

That sounds to me like critisim of the play calling and the run unbalance... I dunno what it tells you, but that is the most critizism you will get out of Larry.

You will not hear Larry saying "Yes the playcalling is ******** we should design other run plays and adapt our game to what works and what doesn't" That isn't Fitz. Fitz says something like that above.

But maybe I'm reading to much into it.

Fitz is obviously frustrated but I think you’re reading too much into it.

Yeah i'm pretty sure he was simply saying that you need to get yards on 1st & 2nd down so you don't end up in 3rd & long situations where the opponent knows you have to pass.
