a crushing blow to the team man... really bad...

Also, if this were 2003... we would have lost that game in some excruciating fashion...

Great that they won but I don't think I ever remember a Cardinal team, even the horrendous 2000 and 2003 teams blowing a 17 point lead with less than 7 minutes left in the game.

The SF game where they blew a 16 point lead giving up two 2 point conversions was close but 17 points!?!?

I expect a late flag when the Cardinals are in the showers. So hang on everybody....

That is sad, but true.

They never had a 17 point lead in 2000 or 2003. :D

“We settled down a little bit,” linebacker Karlos Dansby said. “Then they started coming back. It was a 12-round fight. You gotta love that, especially this time of year.”

“I got a little conservative,” Arians admitted.

“Even in the overtime, they got a big chunk, we could have easily said, ‘Oh man, we gave the game away,’ ” defensive end Calais Campbell said. “But Cason made the play.

“Fitzpatrick looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today. But in the end we did what we had to do, and enough was enough.”

Egad, I had to go to a Christmas party with my wife and left after the Cason pick 6. I checked my phone for the score and saw OT. Freaking heart attack. Just got home and watched the end. Sheesh.
