Amazingly ballsy call to go for it on 4th & 1 at their own 34 late in the game. Could it be that BA finally has lost trust in Butler? WE all know what he would have done there - 28-yard shank out of bounds, 34-yard line drive returned for a TD, or a block. DJ comes through and makes it all a moot point.
Then when Gruden decides to take a TO at 2:03, it gave BA a "free shot" of sorts to throw, as the clock was going to stop for the 2-minute warning after the next play, whether it was a run, pass, or incompletion. To go end zone was typical BA all-or-nothing type of gamble, and it paid off big time. Had it fallen incomplete, no big loss. Just have to make sure you don't get picked there.
Cause for continued concern: all day long, Palmer was getting rushed and beaten up (again), while Cousins repeatedly got ample time to throw. But in the end, those 2 late blitzes sealed the win. All in all, an enjoyable game to be at, as has not often been the case so far this year.
