Seattle's going to be everyone's darling pick for the SB. Including mine.

they're still incredibly tough.

I mean, does the people who think we just mailed it in today even take into consideration that Seattle was without it's starting RB (who they'll apparently get back) two OT and their defensive leader in Cam Chancellor and still came out in a meaningless game to them and drilled the crap out of us?

It's these huge lapses that have had me jumpy all year. There's no rhyme nor reason to them, and I have zero confidence it won't happen during our playoff run. There is such a significant difference between last week and this week, it is astounding.

I think the LOS mailed it in a little.

if it was meaningless, why put Palmer out there at risk of injury? Seems really stupid to put your franchise QB in against a ferocious D in a meaningless game, no?

all depends on who wins those games. The lowest seed out of next weekend plays Carolina.

I see. So we want Seattle to be 6th. I just put that into the machine, and it seems like for that to happen we need Minnesota to win

it's just too easy to say that after you get crushed. All the guys lobbied BA immediately after last week's game. That's STILL the defending NFC champ who talks mad trash and nobody else had the heart to even show up? I'd rather just chalk it up to a bad day where we played like crap then believe this team on the whole didn't even have enough heart to try and fight a team that's owned the division for years, on it's home field and just rolled over and died.

not necessarily. If GB wins and Seattle gets the 5 seed, they likely beat Washington, and GB likely beats Minnesota, which means Seattle goes to Carolina.

I think so he doesn't develop rust not seeing game action for 2 weeks. There's no reps lol game reps. Got him in there threw it around a little then got him out. I don't think Bruce was happy how poorly we played so he left the starters in instead of swapping in some backups.

Exactly. BA just said he saw this coming, the practices were not good all week.

But if Seattle is the 6 seed than they go to Carolina no matter what

I like that actually. Seems to me that its very likely Carolina gets Seattle, barring major upsets
