This is the NFL, you cannot keep stopping someone when your starting QB is dog do do. If you are the defense you realize this and start doing crazy stuff and gamble knowing your QB is not going to score even remotely enough points to catch up. If you are Peterson you try and strip the ball, because two touchdowns down might as well be 6 touchdowns down. No QB and the team will implode
