he just reported that the Cards defensive locker room is a mess.Berry and Hayes walked out of a meeting and Griffith almost came to blows with Pendergast. He also mentioned that DG didn't know anything about it. Not a very good sign. He also mentioned that Buffalo is intersted in moving Nate Clements. The Cards should get a trade worked out and sign him long term.

I find that very hard to believe. B. Berry doesn't seem the type at all to do something like that.

Someone probably questioned Berrys production up to this point, and he didnt like it.

I like the guy, but he got old really fast. 9 tackles, 0 sacks, 1 TFL, 0 FF, 0 FR, 0 PD. In 5 games? Hate to say it but the guy has stunk up the joint so far this season. Watching him play this season it seems that he has only one move and one move only, try and run around the OT.

As for Griffith maybe Pendy finally got on him for talking to much trash, tackling with his shoulder to make the big hit, and possiblity of being benched.

Not sure what Hayes problem was, or why he would walk out.

Also am I the only who thinks Pendy is slightly overrated.

This is not good news. I'm not someone who thinks Green is the problem but if he has this little controll over the team then he has to go. This is bad news right before a game where I hoped for an upset.

slightly? so far he's made Damon Huard and Alex Smith look like Joe Montana. The bloom is off the rose with Pendy as far as I'm concerned.

Massively overrated. I've been saying for awhile now that Pendy is the Green Era version of Jerry Sullivan, another guy who got way more credit than he deserved because of head coaching and front office incompetence. I always get a laugh when people insist he is head coach material considering his defenses the last couple years are below average at best.

And to borrow a line from Walter Mitchell - Green Must Go.

Can a link be provided with this report. The report I read had Clements being shopped and Big Davis being shopped but I did not see anything on this from Glazer and I am calling BS on this until a link can be provided.

Hmmm...and Denny didn't know anything about this either according to Glazer.

Team is unravelling right now.

If they somehow mananged to pull off the major upset tomorrow, it will be forgotten. But, if it's another loss........you're right. They will continue to unravel.

AJ, I had expected something like this from the offense (directed at the OL) but they seem to be still unified, at least outwardly.

even though I think alot of what Pendergrast has done has been done with smoke and mirrors, he has had some moderate success and I would have thought the D would have been a pretty happy unit.

I wonder if Denny publically throwing both coordinators under the bus a couple weeks ago allowed this to start brewing.

I'm hoping he's just not healthy yet, remember this time last year everyone was asking what's wrong with Julius Peppers? But Peppers is much younger than Berry of course.

The defense is prolly tired of having to carry this team. And Pendergast is prolly demading even more from them. Heck, I'd walk out too.

No one is carrying this team, certainly not the defense. All aspects of this team suck.

I concur. If anyone walked out then they are a candy ass. Last time I checked the defense wasn't exactly top 10. If Griffith almost came to blows with Clancy, then maybe its time to start his retirement a little early and let Aaron Francisco start his career.

Say what you want about Coach rah rah McGinnis, but one thing he never did was lose the team. My patience for the Denny Green era is about over. Somebody call ESPN and order a supersized re-enforced fat guy desk chair.... big papa is coming home

One can only imagine what happens during the offensive meetings.

I like Green but it seems he has no control over this team. Even though this is not really proven source you cannot deny what is seen on the field every week. This team looks like a team that has no leader, and is out of control.

But if Green is let go then who comes in to try and turn this organization around?

Is there anyone that can stop this downward spiral?

Oh, he lost them. They liked each other and they loved Mac. But, they were even more lost than the team we have now. They weren't fighting with each other and the coaches, but they just rolled over on the field.

I don't think one person is going to stop it, the only way to stop it is for the team to start winning and this is the worst week of the season for this to be happening to the team. Does anyone think this may be because of Edge?
This stuff started, apparently, after Edge called out the coaches to the media and made it seem okay to undermine the staff. Edge seems to be the leder of the team and he isn't setting a good example.
