Still seething with what we saw from these two on the sidelines during the game. With the game still in reach, Campbell had gathered the d-lline and got in their faces. At one point, he shoved his finger in the chest of Stinson and rather than heed the rally call from a team leader in CC, Stinson chose to mouth and and yelled, "Don't Push Me!" several times...
At about this same time, defensive coach Buckner had gathered a few other defensive players on the bench and was doing his best to motivate them... And what does Markus Golden do? He gets up off the bench and walks away! Buckner can be seen screaming at Golden to "get your ass back on the bench"... And Golden simply blew him off.

I don't know if there is a spot on this team for Stinson... If it were my decision, I'd cut his ass. It's not like we'd lose anything valuable.
As for Golden - he is officially on my clock. He faded at the end of the season. I'm willing to concede that his fade could've been due to his knee. So next season, he better show he can be a consistent threat as a pass rusher, or else...

Not condoning their actions but I think CC and Buckner need to shut up. CC shouldn't be a leader of this team until he starts backing up his talk. If you watch is pregame speeches, it looks like most of the team is tuning him out. BA was on his ass for a reason. And Buckner seems like all he does is talk, I never see him actually coaching technique.

That it's disrespectful to have # 90 being worn especially when he is not playing in one of the biggest games, just like #24 shouldn't be worn. He said he doesn't care if he had a ankle injury ligament damage that he would still go out and play. And Golden shouldn't be disrespecting the coach like that.

You should see what dockett said about Redding and Golden
Golden was getting stuffed trying to penetrate up the middle right before that meeting with Buckner. My guess is he was being berrated for that futile attempt. Stinson and Golden play hard from what I see. Little results in this one. Stinson's strength is obviously not rushing the passer though. Don't know what they expect there. Campbell might have been calling him out for not substituting quick enough.

DARNELL DOCKETT*‏@ddockett

I dare y'all put someone in a #90 jersey and they don't play in the biggest game of the year.. That's like seeing a #24 on the sideline.

I was actually wishing we had DD for the playoffs. He was always good for lighting a fire under the d's ass when they needed it.

I've liked Golden a lot this year. That was absolutely disgusting. And it was still relatively early in the game. Just terrible.

Yep. Unacceptable. I didn't catch the Stinson one, but I ripped Golden in the game thread...and strangely got called out for doing so, as if Golden hadn't done anything wrong lol

I'm sure this will be addressed by BA and SK at some point. I can't imagine that they would just let it go. I would be very surprised if they don't back up their coaching staff. Stinson is nothing special and Golden while a nice player is not a difference maker.

Wasn't this (actually both things) in the first quarter or very early second? Prior to our first score?

That's just ridiculous. I can understand those emotions in the 4th quarter of an ass-handing session, but these things happened early in the game, down a couple of scores and that's it. No excuse.

He may not be special, but IMO he was the only DL player to actually make some plays the other night. Not excusing his behavior at all...he needs to mature...However, to me, he has proven he can play when he's motivated...IMO, he's probably looking at CC and thinking to himself that he's being called out by a guy that isn't making any plays...

Actually I see the opposite...All week these guys have been propped up by their coaches, teammates and media, that they matchup well against Carolina and should actually win the game...then the game starts and Carolina comes out more motivated and more focused...I can see the Cards D getting frustrated early, because of that.

Yup...the glass house that DD lives in certainly has it's share of cracks.

I'm just waiting for Boldin to call out Larry for not cheering enough on the sideline...

Technique is taught in practice, not games.

No way. I don't care if you are frustrated early in a game, you just don't do that at all. That is tantamount to giving up. If Carolina came out more motivated and focused, then look in a mirror.

I didn't say it was right, or that I agreed with it...I just said I could see it happening earlier in a game, rather than later in a blowout...By the time the game is out of hand, you are either extremely sad, or you just laugh about it...When it's earlier in the game, you can get mad and frustrated, because you know the plays are their to make, to keep your team in the game, but you haven't been able to execute, yet...

Stinson has no excuse. None. He has to grow up, and I agree, they he is not that valuable, he is on the roster because he is solid and cheap. With Corey Peters coming back next year, that was not a smart move by Stinson. Its football, the "don't push me" game is bullcrap in that situation, IMHO.

Marcus Golden is a rookie, and was frustrated that he was getting stoned all game long. Kid has to grow up and take on adversity like a professional. You cannot go yelling and disrespecting your boss in the office.

This happening with the game still in reach shows the younger players on this team choked under the pressure.
