Is he better suited to safety of corner?

Section 11,

It's possible, but he as originally a corner, and was moved to safety because he struggled there.

Ryan,

I would have to say the bang-bang plays, where something crazy happens, and you have to be on top of it.

Dave - The radio coverage (and your word pictures) of scrimmage and preseason games become all the more important to us out-of-town Cardinal fans, because there will be no out-out-market TV coverage of the Cards this year.

Our only vehicle for catching the action will be your dulcet tones streamed over the Internet courtesy of the Cards and KDUS.

We're counting on you.

Jeff,

Mistler and I will be doing the pre-season games on TV this year. Kent Derdivanis and Doug Plank will be handling radio for the pre-season. They will do a great job for those 4 games.

I don't think he'll beat out Russell Davis, but Marcus has had a good training camp. He came to camp in very good shape.

I have a question about Nate Dwyer. Has he shown anything to prove he was worthly of a 4th round selection?

Simply put...no.

Dave, not to sound like a jerk, but I thought your were a huge upgrade for this team last year (maybe even the best addition). :D

Here is my question: I've heard mixed reviews on McAddley. How has he done in camp this year overall? Do you think he will be our go to wide out this year? Or will another receiver (Johnson, Gilmore, or Boldin) take that mantle?

Vanden Bosch has been played strictly on the left side in practice, paving the way for Pace to take over at right end. Wakefield is there right now, but we'll see how Pace does in the pre-season games.

Jason has to get more consistent, but remember, he's a 5th round draft pick, who didn't play a lot in college, whose only in his 2nd year in the NFL. I think he's got a chance to be a very good player, but he still has some learning to do.

Dave: Is there a feeling among the players and coaches that no one outside of the team and fans thinks that this team can win? What I mean is that do the players know what's being said about them in the national media (i.e., Chris Mortensen saying that the Cards are going to earn the #1 pick in the draft next year), and really want to make a statement to the rest of the league?

Does this team think that it can win a championship this season?

Here's another one: On another thread, someone mentioned that the Cardinals were ranked by the Sporting News as being one of the worst tackling teams in the NFL. I've noticed poor form in tackling as well. Are the coaches making a meaningful effort to teach proper form in tackling, or are guys just throwing shoulders?

Dave,

Quick question. How has Charles Burton been doing in camp? I got a chance to watch him play this summer in Europe. He had a really good season with the Rhein Fire.

Hey man! Don't get Dave started on the Syracuse guys. He is such a homer!

hahahahahha! Just kidding!

Dave has told me that he is amazed and flattered at how many questions that have been asked of him. Keep it up and maybe it will become a sticky again.

I told him that there is a huge group of rabid Cards fans out there!

Hey, Dave.

we keep hearing that Bell reported to camp in great shape and looks very good at practice. Is he pushing for a starting job? Do you think he'll take Davis' job?

It's too hard to tell because they don't really tackle in practice. As for your question on the attitude, there is definitely a sense that these guys have something to prove. They also know they have a month to go until the regular season, and they don't want to waste too much energy focusing on what everybody else is saying about them.
