I went to the website that was on the back of the business card that Claire's father gave to Mohinder. It's a real website. I surfed around and saw that under jobs, it asks you to put in an invitation code. Makes me wonder if this is somehow incorprated into the show, kinda like what Supernatural did. Not sure though, what are ya'll opinions?

EDIT: I don't know. Looks like a legit site for a business. I just wonder why the show would give out a real url like that.

BTW, is radioactive guy the caveman from the GEICO commercials? They look a lot alike methinks.
blah, blah, blah--especially since I think Ted is why NY blows up (anyone else think he looks like one of the GEICO cavemen?)
Yes, great minds think alike...and we're not the only ones:
http://scifipedia.scifi.com/index.php/Matthew_John_Armstrong

So, are we thinking that ...

Peter is going to Nevada in hopes of preventing himself from blowing up the city when, in fact, he will go to Nevada, meet radioactive dude and then gain radioactive man's power because he came in contact with him and, thus, be able to blow up a city?
Yep....Great minds DO think alike!!!

I want to find missing children as much as the next guy, but there has got to be a better way to handle Amber Alerts than to drown out five or six minutes of Heroes.

i found it funny how the first time it came on, it was over just before they went to commercial....and then was re-issued just after they came back from commercial.

my ultra-liberal, super-compassionate 14 year old was yelling at the tv "I want to rescue the kidnapped kids as much as everyone else, but can't they do this at a commercial???"

I was laughing my butt off. We dvr'd it & we're going to go back & see if we can get closed captioning on it.

Ugh. I missed this episode. I wish they'd go ahead and upload it so I can watch it online!

TV viewers unhappy about timing of Amber Alert

The Arizona Republic
Jan. 30, 2007 08:09 PM
An Amber Alert interrupted prime-time television Monday, cutting into such popular shows as 24 and Heroes, much to the chagrin of viewers, many of whom complained.

The alert was issued for 1-year-old Isidro Ramirez, who was abducted along with his mother around 4:30 a.m. Monday.

To Art Brooks, the president and CEO of the Arizona Broadcasters Association and the state coordinator for Amber Alert, the complaints fall on deaf ears.

"If you're the parent of that child, don't you want it on as quickly as you can get it on?" he said. "End of story."

Viewers can see last night's episode of 24 at myfoxphoenix.com; Heroes can be seen at nbc.com/Video/rewind.

I watched it online. That Amber Alert wouldn't have affected me anyway. Good episode by the way.

Honestly my biggest complaint wasn't that they started the amber alert, this is a much needed thing in the world, my complaint is they started it, then went to comercial and apparently this was important enough to interupt the show to start it, but then not to finish it DURING THE COMMERCIAL???? SO they are saying the commercials are much more important then the amber alert???

i guess it can be justified that if they had played the amber alert during a commercial, then most everybody would have just changed the channel. showing it during the show would have pretty much kept everyone watching the show in their seats and listening for the duration.

Except for me it had the opposite effect. I concentrated as hard as I could on understanding the dialogue and tuned out the Amber alert.

Has there always been audio with the Amber alerts on TV? I was under the impression that it was usually a written alert scrolling at the bottom of the screen, much like the weather alerts.

So, I'm kind of surprised there isn't any discussion about this episode, especially with the reveal of

claire's mom being a firestarter, sylar kicking claire's dad's ass, and the preview showing who claire's pops is (and I think it is Nathan). Good ep...I liked it.
