i was surprised that george tekei turned out to be a good guy. i expected him to be the all-powerful oz of the operation.
Still loving this one.... My favorite series on right now...
Happy Heroes Day
To bad we will have to wait too long after tonight for the next.
ftfy...These writers have no clue how to build a mythology, no clue how to establish 3-dimensional characters, no clue how to wrap plot lines around 3-dimensional characters that we will actually care if they live or die.
This show is a good idea. It's being wasted on WB rejects, apparently. Will someone go find Joss Wheadon, Glen Morgan, or James Wong, please?

Yeah, not the fulfilling finale like you'd hope.
But I liked it...
yeah, I'll watch it still...I'm mildly interested to know who Molly was referring to when she mentioned the bad guy that can see her when she's looking for him.I still like the show, enjoy it tremendously... The only thing I can figure that would make sense (IMO) is that in it's infancy they must not have been sure if it would last all three mini seasons... There is no way someone wrote that whole story, like that, originally. I would guess, or rather hope, that it just morphed to that conclusion with poor writing that came after the shows initial success... (please tell me they did not write that entire plot as it was, in it's entirety, from the beginning)
And sadly - although Hiro was one of my favorite characters - they did not leave me "wanting" for volume 2.
comments inside your spoiler...The Hiro storyline was good, but I have to ask ...
Did anyone even understand Peter's uncontrollable nature? I realize we're supposed to take leaps of faith in a comic book storyline, but they never explained it. Syler's dead but Peter's still going nuclear. I know Ted had a hard time controlling himself, and it was HIS power. I think it was just a bizarro power that he had difficulty controlling. I think, though, Sylar should have had the same problem with it (and still may).
Did anyone feel good that Jessica survived? Does that mean we have to deal with another season of Jessica's confusing storyline? Does anyone realize she doesn't really have an ability, but she is in fact clinically psychotic? This is the only part that bothers me at all. How did she get Jessica under control? Did I miss that somewhere? And yes, she's just a nut job.
Does anyone think Noah Bennet's anti-hero character should have died? I was rooting for it just so I didn't have to see those stupid glasses. Then, Claire could actually start growing up instead of the whiny school girl act that I found annoying throughout. No, I like Mr. Bennett, and I like Claire.
Lastly, they invested so much into Matt Parkman's undying love for his wife and they left that story in the dust months ago. Here's where I think better writers find a place to mine for emotional impact. Instead, they let Parkman swing in the wind between good side and bad side, only to show at the end his efforts were pointless. He had no power to affect change. I disagree with that wholeheartedly. There were many times that his power came in mighty handy, and saved them all in certain situations.

Syler's dead but Peter's still going nuclear. OTOH, Nathan's dead. I got so tired of his camera mugging and deadpanning. I think we were supposed to see a glimpse of his true heroic nature, but this actor apparently studied under Richard Gere and David Duchovny.

At least Sylar isn't dead.
