FINALLY a new episode. Freaking funny seeing Barney's mom because dcr & I are watching 6 Feet Under right now & she's the mom in that show, too.

When they broke out the Teen Wolf, R and I just about died.

Holy crap, that was funny. I loved that episode.

Robin's "[somebody] and LaFleur" movie was hilarious. Against the evil americans, a renegade mountie and his african-canadian partner, etc. Also, calling barney's ear.

I think I just know the characters & writing so well that I saw all of that coming. It was still funny...in some ways moreso since I knew what was coming--to see how they played it--but in some ways the predictability took away from the show.

I'm also grouchy about it all since I watch it at work w/o dcr. (he won't watch any tv in "real time"...he won't see any of this until the whole season comes out on dvd). It's always better when you have someone to laugh with.

They got beat in the first game against this one team 66-4, then 44-6 and finally we held them to 20-8. I felt like they had a couple of teen wolfs.

I didnt read this thread so I have no idea what everyone is saying (but obviously people like it or there wouldnt be all these pages).. But I watched some kind of mini marathon of this show late last nite bcuz I couldnt sleep.. This show irritated me.. Not irritating to the point I turned it, but irritating watching two goobers trying to score with chicks.. The one dude that is looking for the girl is a terrible actor.. Dunno wasnt thrilled with this.. Wish I had found Geoge Lopez reruns like I was trying to do last nite..

I think its one of the top 5 funniest shows on TV right now, i like it because it reminds me a lot of me and my friends. IMO george lopez is a good show but not nearly as funny or well written at least How i met your mother has a storyline not just random weekly stories.

I been watching reruns of this on Sundays and Ive come to two conclusions.. Barney is a pretty funny dude.. And Ted annoys the crap out of me.. Why is he such a whiny lil *****? I wanna punch him in the face to hope he'd snap outta his lil ***** ways..

I love everyone on this show except for Ted.

I'm with you, he's just irritating. I always had an issue with him and Robin being together because she's simply wayyyyyyy too hot for him.

Still love the show though, it grew on me. Barney is hilarious.

This season so far has been really, really good. Last night's was one of their sadly serious ones, which broke the flow of some really great funny eps. However, the hunt for nachos after "eating sandwiches" was awesome, especially upon the reveal.

This is supposed to be a big story arc season, potentially setting up for a final season next year. For a story arc season, they have been piling on the funny quite well.

The last 5 minutes of last night's episode was like watching a game theory play out in real life. The nacho bit was amazing.

This season has been great and you know they have to leave a few cliffhangers going into sweeps and then the mid-season break. I bet we will have a few more rough moments to watch before the end of the month.

The nacho bit was amazing.

That was actually the part that I couldn't stand. Them getting in the womans bathroom line wasn't funny the first time and wasn't funny the next 10 times they did it. I've really liked this season so far but this was the weakest episode. The only good part was the Barney/Robin part.
