After watching Andy Dalton carve up the Rams its safe to say we blew it that 1st time we played them.
That game and the first Seattle game are the only losses that bother me and Seattle is 6-4 and it was on the road so that one doesn’t even stick too much.

But that first Rams game sucks. That team has stunk on ice from the first snap of the season on TNF and that was a home game where the D played well enough to win, but Kyler just stunk up the joint.

Missed two TDs (Ertz/Hollywood).

1st Seahawks game wouldnt have hurt as much if we sacked up and beat the Eagles. They were there for the taking.

Well ya need a QB capable of it :)
Sure their WRs had something to do with it as well Olave is a stud. Wish we would have had shop that first time round… Missed games by big players is gonna be the story of the season, and unfortunately the perfect excuse for management to do nothing…

Saving for prosperity considering Colt laid 31 on the Niners last time he played them and that was without Hopkins. Niners were full strength too.
Another demerit regarding
This is another no-win scenario for Kyler. If Colt comes out and plays well, another slap in his face. If Colt doesn't, it is because Colt is the backup, there were a ton of injuries and Kyler let a hamstring keep him out. Fair or not, this is reality.
this is how someone slants a narrative.

He might just be a guy who’s body can’t take the pounding of pro football. Would that really be that much of a surprise for someone his size? He looks like a little kid amongst men on the field.
Doesn’t account for rbs that are his size or smaller who take a much more constant pounding. Someone already pointed that out.

He isn't big enough to be successful from the pocket if he can't use his legs. (that is my understanding of the comment)
Which, if true, raises even more questions about kliff’s coaching (No designed rollouts, no moving the pocket).

My guess, (and I would like to think it is an educated one) is this is because we utilize the shotgun so much and how teams rush Kyler (contain vs crash to the pocket).

Well, right or wrong, the story of the season is going to be Kyler's regression. Not trying to troll you here at all. It's just he's the QB, and just got the big contract, so the blame is going to end up falling hard on his shoulders.

Imagine if Lamar had taken the contract Baltimore offered and played the way Kyler has. The national media would be tearing the dude apart. I'm frankly surprised at how little is being said about it apart from on this board. I have to assume it's because we're the Arizona Cardinals and this is expected.

Yep it’s because this team as a whole on a national media scale is largely irrelevant.

Understandable take, I just don’t feel like Kyler has forgotten how to play football. Think there are many factors playing into how this season has played out thus far.

He was their only good receiver and we had Hollywood who was on a 1400 yard pace in the first game. So big shrug.

Two very exciting things happen after tonight's game vs 49ers:

1. We lose and our season is basically over - and major changes are on the way for 2023.
2. We win, we are in the middle of the NFC playoff chase with a bonafide QB controversy!

I prefer option #2, Lets do this!!

Go Cardinals!!!
Tim in NJ

3. We lose and there are no major changes in 2023. The whole franchise takes a big shrug and says "but injuries" and carries on as normal.

I'm really surprised more isn't being made of it in the current media. He's very much skated so far.

Patently false good lord dude do you ever say anything factual? Olave, Kamara, Johnson, Landry all had nice games receiving, all over 10+ per catch. Only good receiver geesh get a clue!

Yeah. Only good "receiver".

Kamara is a RB. Johnson is a nobody TE and Landry hasn't done anything for years.

You're comment tried to make out the Saints had far better options than Kyler had in the first Rams game which is clearly nonsense.
