I now believe that how a team plays depends who's under center. It seems like the team played their hearts out Sunday for Skelton. They played harder, with more energy. The defense looked as good as they have in a long time. The line got pressure on the QB forcing him into some bad throws and the secondary was very affective. On offense, the line played like we thought they were capable of giving up zero sacks an opening up holes for the running game, especially in the 2nd half. The team that played this Sunday looked like a 180 degree different team than the one who played Monday night against SF. If we played like this all season long, we'd be sitting in 1st at 8-5 at worst right now.

I also believe that the sky is blue, and that eclipses are caused by the moon passing in front of the sun, or the earth casting its shadow over the moon.

But I think that Sunday's game was more a reflection of the Cards playing a team that is even more talent-poor and demoralized than we are. That Denver unit isn't playing for anything.

I think it has more to do with making plays early in the game. This team remains mentally soft; if something bad happens in the first quarter, they're more likely to fold up the tents and move on than to try and battle back. We'll see what happens in two weeks when we play a team that has been working on pride and putting up a fight against very good teams.

The Panthers are more talented than the Broncos. So Skelton is ramping up the level of competition every week. But I don't think that this team believes in Skelton any more than they believed in Max Hall. I think that Skelton just hasn't had failures yet. We'll see what happens when he has to overcome some adversity, and how the team responds.

29 run attempts help, I aint backing off Beanie first and THT 2nd, I think its the right way to maximise our talent.

I aint backing off Whiz is silly for not running early, that is why we are behind no matter whos QB.

The 450 pass attempts to 260 rush attempts is fundementally broken play calling. it is misuse if not abuse of our talent, We have bad QB play during that whole stretch called the 2010 season.

I hope Whiz relizes and acts right. those rush numbers are even less if you really look at it, I bet 50% were from passing formations.

I think the Cardinals have put in effort to obtain said franchise QB, but the effort resulted in doodly squat.

Neither is a dragon eating either the sun or the moon. I know, because I went to Space Camp when I was in 5th grade and took AST101 my freshman year in college.

Before I get back to work....I have been saying this all along (duh big deal!!)
No doubt about it. Hopefully he can build on this with the "perfect" opportunity next game. The NFL Sun rises and sets on quarterbacks...nothing more need be said. It is the most vital and important position in sports and real good ones are RELATIVELY as rare as hens teeth...just ask the Vikings. How fortunate the Eagles were in what they did, eh? For those of you across the Walt Whitman bridge....and I know who you are.....now ya' also pulled another coupe...Hammels, Halliday, Oswalt and Lee...let's just start the 2011 football season and skip baseball
