I know the actual bust has a list of his teams but the memorabilia being sold at the HOF has him as a Ram:

And the Hall of Fame QB legends t-shirt has his Rams jersey on it.

Won an MVP and a Super Bowl with them. Makes sense

Two MVP's although the second one probably should've been Faulk. I think Kurt nearly led the league in picks. Martz started losing it around then.

Nothing to complain about
Undrafted, played arena football and in europe before having a try out with rams, gettin a spot on the 53 and almost immediately the starting job, taking them to superbowl and Lombardi trophy
The rams gave him a chance to succeed

Thats more impressive then vince papale's story

Not really. Papale never played college ball(his college didn't even have a football team). He came off the street to play in the WFL and again came off the street to play for the Eagles. Not too many people can say that. As wonderful as Kurt's story is, he played division 1 college football, was invited to an NFL training camp(GB), went to play professional football in the AFL and NFLE before getting another shot and made the most of it.

Hard to argue Cards over Rams. Is playing in the game our consolation prize? Would seem more appropriate for Rams to play, right Fitz?

Don't get me wrong. I love KW and his story but you can't deny it's pretty amazing for a guy to go to an open try out right off the street and make an NFL roster.

Sorry, folks. It sucks.

Not Kurt's fault (It is what it is). It's a Cardinal problem - in terms of PR, we're still not loved. A franchise objective should be to reach the point where former players want to identify with us more than they do any other team. I think we're on track - it just has to be a consistent goal the team should relentlessly work toward. We can get there.

Kurt has been on the radio saying how excited he is that the Cards are playing in the HOF Game, and that he is happy to represent the Cardinals

I don't think this a matter of the Cardinals not being loved... it's a matter of Kurt's story being bigger/better in St. Louis where he was a 2 Time MVP, a 2 time Super Bowl QB and a Super Bowl winning MVP... as opposed to playing 2 great years with the Cardinals where he took the team to the Super Bowl once but lost.

If any of you think he looks back more fondly on his Cardinals experience over the Rams, you're looking through rose-colored glasses.

I honestly think that this has nothing to do with Kurt Warner. I believe that he looks at his life and his career, not only in the NFL, as a whole; and that each "stop" along the journey prepared him for the next.

Beyond that - to climb to the mountain top the first time is enthralling (but it could still be looked at as a fluke), to do it again a second time when many onlookers have already decided you had a great journey, but it's over you are done (count me among the many that though Warner was done when he went to the Giants); and then to reach the mountain top a second time that's satisfaction.

He won the SB there and "The Greatest Show of Turf" was there. People remember that more than they remember our surprise run to the SB. Even had the Cards won that game, I think he still goes in as a Ram unless he won another one with Arizona.

It's also fitting that he joins Marshall Falk in the hall as a Ram, given that St. Louis just lost their team. We'll be toasting Larry soon enough, and KW will always be in our ring of honor.

He lost. If you think that's as satisfying as winning, I don't know what to tell you, even with the great comeback story.

I know he won the SB and MVP with the Rams but I don't know if he makes the Hall without the comeback in AZ.

Not at all. He had a better career with the rams. Why would it be otherwise? He played in 2 super bowls with the rams, won one and got a super bowl mvp. With us he went to one super bowl. Its pretty basic.

This is true.

Also, if his career was his stint here, he would have never been considered either. It was a joint effort for sure.

As you know - regarding induction to the Pro Football HOF, a player does not go in as a "Ram" or a "Cardinal" or whatever team. The focus is the player's full career and story.

The point I was attempting to make is I would guess that is how Kurt; knowing what we know about the man; considers his career also, as a whole. Of course, without doubt the pinnacle of Kurt Warner's career was the Super Bowl win. But the entirety of the career is greater than its parts; what a man does (is) over his lifetime is more significant than any individual accomplishment.

I believe Warner himself would say that his story is still being written. . .

Here's my point. Yes he won the Super Bowl as a Ram. Yes he went to another there. Yes he was a 2 time MVP there. But his complete body of work, he doesn't get into the Hall of Fame without what he did here. That is a fact. If winning a Super Bowl or 2 is all it took than Jim Plunkett would be in as he won 2 with the Raiders. But if KW's production fell off as it did in STL and he remained a backup for the rest of his career then there's no way he's in a discussion for the HOF. In fact, had we gotten blown out in that Super Bowl I'm not so sure he gets in with that either. Believe me, he leading us to a Super Bowl had just as much of an influence on him getting in as his time with the Rams. We should have gotten equal recognition.
