This thread proves it's official silly season. Cousins is a better QB than the others on the market, the only question is whether he merits the cap space he'll demand. He's better than Keenum or Bradford and IMO he's better than Alex Smith by a comfortable margin. Worth the price? Depends on the price, but every year we debate a QB's worth. The fact is, a middling QB gets paid better than the best pass rusher or WR in the league. Someone will pay them, I'd personally rather pay a little more and get a decent/good one like Cousins than go the cheap route and pay $15-$17M and end up with Glennon, Osweiler, or whatever other bargain QB you feel like talking yourself into after watching the highlight reels his mom posted on YouTube. Which is exactly what we'll do if we end up signing Tyrod, Bradford, or some other re-tread. Why? Because we're suckers who need something to hope for.
