If he asked, would you move Fitz?

say Larry asks the Cards, privately, to trade him to a contender, say NE, Minny, or somebody like that. Should the Cards appease his wishes? They shut down PP right away. Would they Larry?

They likely get no better than a mid round pick for him.

I can see both sides. Fitz has been great for the team and granting his wish seems like a good thing to do.

OTOH, he’s been well compensated and they really don’t “owe” him anything.

I would. Just like the team did for Aeneas almost two decades ago (!!!!).

Yep. Never happening. Wasn't it bad enough seeing Adrian Wilson in a Patriots jersey that one preseason? Cbus, once again you make the worst threads. Leave this topic alone lol
Forgot about that. Oy

if he asked? absolutely I would. Dude's given us EVERYTHING. If he really wanted to end trying to get a ring, and we could get something in return, I'd have no problem getting a second team to root for and hope to cheer Larry on to a title.

Yes he's earned that right.

Peterson is at a different point in his career and he's in his prime I wouldn't think of trading him

When a player gives his everything to a franchise, I think his request needs to be honored out of respect.

It's a lot like Steve Nash. When he asked for a trade near the end of his career, the Suns obliged.

If Fitz really wants out, I think you respect his wish.

Absolutely...but I dont think Larry is that type of guy at all. But if he did...I certainly wouldn't blame him one bit. Having said that...Larry is and always been a Cardinal!!!

After everything he’s done and been for this franchise, if Larry asks to be cut into Bill Sr’s will, the answer better be yes.

So the Cardinals would receive compensation to improve in the future and I could watch Larry in the playoffs, giving me someone to route for?!!! That sounds like a great plan for all parties!

I don’t bend to players requests often, but for Larry . . . yes. And without much hesitation. I hope it never comes to that and he’s happy retiring only having played for a single team his entire career. There aren’t many players in today’s day and age that can say that.
