Eh, nah. Wouldn’t draft a LT cause I doubt Hump will leave & I don’t want to move Josh to RT.
Good to know. Where are you at with Laviska Shenault? (or anyone else's opinion)

He reminds me a ton of Sammy Watkins and I think he would be better in the Kirk role than Kirk. Shenault and Creed Humphrey/Tyler Biadasz are my three top targets in round 2 right now.

I like Shenault a lot, but foot injuries on WRs are really worrying. Getting Shenault would make up for not getting Deebo last year though.

a ton of really good WR in this draft and he’s one of them. I don’t think he makes it to round 2

The "elite talent" is going to be a skill position player 99% of the time. We've gotta invest in the lines sometime. Lamb won't be very exciting to watch when it's Brett Hundley throwing to him.

I get it. We screwed up there. But this franchise blatantly ignores drafting linemen high. Gotta do it eventually. The shiny toys can be acquired either way. Also, for how much we want to cling to Brown, when's the last time a top 10 draft pick at WR was an impact player? Amari Cooper, 2015, kinda, but he's also having most of his success on a team that didn't draft him. Before that, you have to go to Mike Evans, and even he was second over Kevin White.

Build the lines, develop talent at those positions, and watch the rest of the team improve because Kyler isn't running for his life.

How many titles does Adrian Peterson have? I think the same number as Levi Brown. Same as Fitzgerald. Same as a bunch of skill players who were on mostly bad teams with bad lines who could never protect their QB in big moments.

FWIW most of the mock drafts have the Cardinals taking OT Thomas out of GA OT Wirfs out of IA or Jeudy or CeeDee Lamb. Any of those four would be a good selection IMO.

DJ Humphries was a first round pick by the Cardinals.
They didn't ignore the position, but they are historically bad evaluating the position, with high or medium low picks
Last 7 drafts 1st round picks
1 OT
1 OG
2 Mlb
2 Qb
1 Dt

We had a streak between 2007 and 2013 where we didn't take an OL anywhere in the first two days (rounds 1-3) of any draft.
It created enough of a problem that Keim paid a lot closer attention once he became GM in 2013.
He's taken Jonathan Cooper and DJ Humphries as first rounders, and some middle round picks like Mason Cole, Dorian Johnson, Earl Watford, and Evan Boehm as well, all of which were considered very good picks at the time. And lots of Free Agents as well. Lots. It hasn't been an ignored area for a long time, although
it hasn't always worked out for a multitude of reasons.

How many titles did we win with Levi Brown?

We could have had Adrian Peterson and Joe Schmo at T (same production as Levi).

The real question is who would have given us a better chance to win a title, Levi or AP? I'm gonna go with AP on that one.

He probably extends Kurt’s career a couple more years as well. We know having Edge played a part but it’s not like Revis or Willis weren’t sitting there for us either.

If improvement on defense, the OL and TE is legit, it's hard to evaluate roster spots going into the off-season. (i.e. should we fill needs? Or can we continue to coach up our current group of players)?

Logically, the best way around this dilemma is to stick with a BPA approach and add the most talented available player regardless of need - and let everyone compete for roster spots.

Who belongs on our Top 20 or so BPA list? It's still too early to tell. Lots of post season action to watch
