It's really good.

I'm 100% convinced that the CIA KNEW who/why Kennedy was killed. I also will entertain the idea that Oswald was a patsy. He had TOO many links to the CIA to believe he was a communist dissident.

Castro was a MFing King. He is probably the greatest Latino hero, and Che is right there with him.

Can't come close to agreeing with either - both terrible people doing terrible things
Not nearly as terrible as Bautista. His revolution was nearly bloodless compared to the 20,000 murders during the last year of Bautista regime.

A lot of the information Americans have been told was spoon fed to the western media by the CIA. When you hear all of the links the CIA had to the Mafia (Italian and Cuban) and rightwing extremists, it makes anything they did suspect.

Another extremely false narrative was that Castro and Che were communists from the get go. They weren't; they declared Cuba a communist state AFTER the Bay of Pigs.

I think it's healthy for all of us to acknowledge just how depraved the CIA was during the Cold War. They consistently supported right wing demagogues who butchered likely millions all throughout Latin America. Men like Che and Castro witnessed this firsthand.

A good deal of the failings of Cuba can be directly attributed to the embargo. Even with the embargo, Cuba has among the best education system and among the best healthcare in Latin America. When Castro took over, the majority of the children of Cuba didn't even own shoes and the literacy rate was like 30%.

We didn't see any American intervention to stop that. But we saw American intervention just as soon as Cuba threatened to make sugar more expensive by collectivization. Before Castro took over, sugar mills used to have an axe propped up next to sugar cane grinders, ready to cut off the arms of workers whose arms who invariably get pulled into the grinder. They would hack off the arm because they didn't want to stop the grinders.

Did they ever explain why the dogs barking?
The lead singer, Perry Ferrell, had his dogs in the studio when they recorded Been Caught Stealing and they started to bark.

It wasn’t planned but they thought that the barking actually fit in with the song. It’s a great video and a great song. Jane’s Addiction is criminally underrated
