Or Tom Knight or Bryant Johnson/Calvin Pace or Wendell Bryant or Eric Hill or John Lee(2nd round pick) or Kelly Stouffer or Steve Pisarkiewicz...
Yep its actually an endless list funny I'm beginning to wonder if going back to the very first draft how many actual players the Cardinals Ever Picked were worth a Tinkers Damn I'm afraid to look actually

Alright, full transparency, I posted this last night after probably like 10 beers and 4 shots... so I was a little off, haha. I think I just realized I was going to be extremely negative here, and I still feel that way.

So I'm kinda backing off my claim. I still think this was a horrendous pick, and I think the pick is the worst in Cardinals history because of how important having the #1 overall pick is. Also, some of you reached out... I really appreciate it.

lol... good on you for the mea culpa. all we can hope now is that Cardinals are the smartest people in the NFL.

uh... actually, pass me four of those shots right about now.

Levi was considered one of if not the best OL in that draft but yeah, AP was a special player coming out. The Levi pick was mostly on Grimm. Sad thing, even before drafting Brown, that Cards offensive line was akin to the 1975 team compared to what we had last year and right now.

he was NOT considered the best at all. Thomas was. He was listed by everyone as 2 and a distant #2 to Thomas at that.

Fun draft fact: The Cards drafted Joe Namath in the first round but wanted him to sign before the Orange Bowl which would have prevented him from playing. All they had to do was wait until 1/2/65. That's the day he signed with the Jets.

Guess you could count that one as another miss too

I'm sorry guys... In just going to admit it...I took mushrooms with keim and Kingsbury two hours before the draft. I'm not good at making good decisions and might have used my bad influence on them...

At least they finally started coming down and could have that press conference

wasn't it the Cards who drafted a player who couldn't read?

I think that was Dexter Manley for 'Skins and there was somebody from the Chiefs also... can't remember
