I think there's another quote by Lombardi that sometimes applies to this, or any Cards team for that matter,

'What the hell's going on out there!!'

MrYeahBut, a good one. I was thinking of that, but I'm a Glass is Half Full person.

Sadly the Cardinals glass rarely gets more than half full.

What will be most interesting for next year is seeing a Cardinals team where the Defense is significantly better than the offense to start the off season.. Talk about something rare.

I expect big things from the Cards next year: Kolb gets a full off-season to prepare, the defense is coming together nicely and gets an offseason to work with Horton, right now it looks like Campbell will be back, up and coming LBers, Ryan Williams will be back, they have an excellent young FB in Sherman, they are using more TE packages and should be in good position to grab a LT or WR in the draft. The loss of the second round pick doesn't hurt as bad as it did two months ago. Keep Levi and slide him back to RT and the Cards should be playing a third place schedule matching them up against Philly and Carolina most likely. They play the AFCE and NFCN and I'm calling it right now the Cards will go at least 3-1 against the AFCE and yes, I think they beat New England. Arizona looks to be a 10-6 team next year.

They were down 23-0 in the 4th and then they lost by 7 points.
Combine that with flirting with .500 after going 1-6?
I'll take it.

Of course, an ugly loss next week will hurt anything I'm feeling today, but in the meantime?

I've felt worse after a loss.

And that whole last offensive play is the thing really sticking in my butt.

considering how close most of the games were too. If we had an offense that could win, we'd have a playoff spot locked weeks ago. Sadly our D/ST gets the full burden this season
