All of this is nothing but conjecture at this point. There's a few people here who I wouldn't want to see try and make a deal when they buy a car.

It's about to become more than conjecture. It's gonna be reality. A sobering one for the Cardinals if they don't step up to the plate quickly.

They are making sure he wont break after he gets sacked 10 times in the first 3 games of the season.

I think It was Brenda they were taking to the hospital,
Kurt stepped on her ankle while they were getting off the plane.

Doesnt all this blow by blow of his visit smack of trying to get the cards to move? Since when do we get all this info as it happens?

While I'm all aboard the soyanara Kurt train, it makes it just that much more miserable that our defense couldn't hold a lead in the biggest game of their lives for a little over two minutes.

Super Bowl Champion Arizona Cardinals...Kurt rides off into the sunset, we all are happy and none of these bad vibes all around ever happened.

Freaking Pendy...

I don't know if you know who he is, but Kurt Warner is kind of a big deal. His office smells of rich mahogany and he flies in a private jet to see the 49ers.

We are getting a lot of this info from SF sources. It is very similar to the blow by blow coverage by local media that we got when Emmitt Smith came here.

Normally, the deal would have been signed by now the way the Haynesworth deal was.

It would take longer with the Niners. After meeting Bruce and Gore, Kurt had to take a long time meeting the whole OL, his other recievers, and the OC becuase he never even heard of them before.

Yeah, that's what I WAS thinking. Now I'm starting to think Kurt was coming back no matter what and was intent on getting as much $$ as he could from whoever would pay it. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just get the impression he hasn't exactly been very honest with his comments which is a downer for me.

If he was coming back just because he didn't win the SB, then he wouldn't be talking to the niners. He's not taking them to the big game in the next 2 years. Joe-frigging-Montana couldn't take that team to the SB.

I love Kurt. And it pains me to think that I may never again see him connect a long pass to Fitzgerald. But I'm just not going to take as gospel everything I am reading about the negotiations.

Even if SF does make him an offer, if he is the man I think he is, he is going to go home, talk it over with Brenda, talk it over with his kids, call his pastor, call the friends he prays with. He's going to pray about it himself and look for answers in his Bible. SOP for most devout Christians.

If I had my way he'd be in Cardinal red next year. But the Bidwills aren't taking my calls.

:) The cornerstone of the Super Bowl run LMAO. Brilliant. I guess you will be putting serious coin on the 49ers to win it all this year in Las Vegas as soon as Kurtis the stock boy and Brenda the cashier sign in San Fran. It was all Kurtis afterall.

Not at all...reading comprehension is clearly not one of your strengths. I never said that the niners would win it all, nor did I insinuate it. Further, if you follow the team closely, you would know that the cashier story is made up. Continue with your straw man argument that "it was all Kurtis afterall". Let me know if you want to have an actual discussion about this, instead of this stupid bs.

A 38 year old who's been considering retirement is not a cornerstone.

Fitz is a cornerstone. DRC and Dansby are cornerstones.

Sigh...I never said that Warner is a cornerstone to the future, he was however THE cornerstone to our Super Bowl run. If we have Warner the next two years, I still see us as viable Super Bowl contenders, if we don't, then sadly I don't think we will.

For a team that can count playoff appearances on one hand, and super bowl appearances on one finger, you would think that it would be a bigger deal. It seems many here have forgotten that.

I'm gonna hold you to that if it becomes reality. Who was calling their signals when they should have won that Monday night game? They'll get much better with Warner.

Sigh.....You called Warner the cornerstone to the Super Bowl run and that comment makes me laugh. By saying that, certainly you would seem to believe that a cornerstone could be the cornerstone for another team, no? Furthermore, I know the cashier story is made up. I am sorry but I am sick of hearing about Warner and all of the BS that comes with him, including the BS spam emails about how wonderful a person he is, how his life is a fairy tale, as well as moronic fans that put one player above the team. I mentioned that email to take a needless jab at the Warnerphiles.

Don't want him or need him. The Cards want to go with Lienart thats why there are not worried about losing warner, actually the Cards for once are doing what the Niners should, not overpaying to help sign players whose contracts are coming up for renewal. Spending roughly 29 mil for a 38 yr old qb and having a makeshift line and many holes to fill IMO not worth it. Hill keeps getting screwed and all he has ever done is help this team win!!! HELL NO-let Warner go!!!!!!!!!

Michael Smith of ESPN just said he still doesnt think Warner wants to play with the 49ers becuase it isnt anywhere close to the ideal situation. Says he dosnt think it will happen. But the Cards are firm on their two year 23 million dollar deal with 12.5 gauranteed. Who knows what contract is right.
