His last 3 passes of the past 3 seasons have all been interceptions, with 3 different teams?

Green Bay (playoffs vs Giants)
NYJ (deep in his zone, last game of the season)
Minnesota (7 seconds left @ NO)

Almost, but not quite. Yes, for Green Bay and Minnesota.

However, not for the Jets. He did throw an INT on what should have been his last play of the season, but the Dolphins couldn't run the clock out and had to punt with 28 seconds left in the game. Favre then threw a 4 yard completion to Leon Washington, who lateraled it back to Favre, who threw another forward pass incomplete for an illegal forward pass penalty. That was his last play as a Jet.

It might have been the same ending in 3 of the 4 cities...and a fitting way to go out the way he started...

From wikipedia: Favre's first pass in an NFL regular season game resulted in an interception returned for a touchdown. He only attempted four passes in his career at Atlanta, was intercepted twice, and completed none of them

I thought his first pass was to himself. If I remember correctly it was tipped at the line of scrimmage and he caught it and was tackled right away.

Wouldn't that pass not count then, due to penalty? Or does the original pass stand?

His first pass completion happened in Green Bay and was to himself.

That doesn't change the fact that his first pass attempt in the NFL was intercepted and returned for a TD when he was Atlanta's QB.

Like wikipedia said: He only attempted four passes in his career at Atlanta, was intercepted twice, and completed none of them.

I don't think it counts.

I don't think it counts either...

It had to have counted, because in the official stats of the game, Washington is credited with 6 catches, which he couldn't have had without that one. Also, the penalty was enforced from the NYJ 7 yard line, which gives them credit for the play since they started at the 1. They still ended with a net 3 yard gain after the play and penalty enforcement.

I would like to bring clarity and closure to this debate by adding I have no idea.

His last pass of each of the last 4 postseasons have all been interceptions, if i recall correctly - this year, 2007 against the Giants, 2004 against the Vikings (I think; this is the one I'm not sure about), and 2003 against Philadelphia.

NFL Gameday Final said the same thing I did, but I'm thinking we're both wrong.

I think he ended the play-offs after the 2001 season with an interception in the Rams game - his sixth of the day.
