Give it up CardsCampos people only see what they want to see. Yesterdays loss is all Kurt Warners fault, the fact the D was no where around and the Jets scored at will is also KW's fault. Its also KW's fault when he gets blindsided and fumbles, its not like someone is supposed to block. I mean if Leinart were starting we would have just destroyed the Jets with 5 yard passes and our awesome running game! And what the hell was Whiz thinking not having KW out there in coverage so Farve wasn't hitting WIDE OPEN recievers. DAMN YOU KURT! DAMN YOOOOOUUUUU!

This is why I know the blinders are on.

There are multiple threads on the first page alone calling out the Defense with as much vile as this one. There are multiple threads saying we should fire Pendy. Multiple threads asking why we drafted Levi Brown, and Multiple threads calling out several D players including Eric Green and Rolle. Yet this one thread trumps them all and makes those invisible?

Your post only had one thing correct, "people only see what they want to see."

Read more threads then just the ones that have the words Warner it it.

I am going to repeat that. Every fan here would take his 2nd half performance in every game from here on out Guarnateed!!! And if you wouldn't well that makes no sense. 35 points 330 yds and 2 TD's will win 95% of our games.

And the fan who actually who tried to use sarcastic humor about my Boldin Fumble explanantion

OK. Let's look at your "Boldin fumble explanation" (BFE). You want us to forgive Warner's pathetic ball protection ability on the basis of 1 fumble by another player. That fumble did not appear to have anything to do with outside factors such as a wet ball as you might be alluding to (though I admit I don't really understand your BFE theory). Boldin was actually protecting the ball but got hit on a solid play by the defender IMHO.

NOPE...Reread...I said he played a horrible 1st half. There is no denying that. But with that fisrt half...it had to make coming out in the 2nd even harder!!!! He didnt seem to have it at all!!! And yet still threw for 330 yds and really was responsible for 5 TD's because we rushed 5 times! I said he played overall not as bad as it looked. Meaning Rex Grossman...ended up with a 1.2 QB rating or something. Warner somehow atleast got it together. We would take his 2nd half....In every GAME the rest of the way!!!! ANd tell me you wouldn't!!

Nope, Ross Perot didn't have facts and pie charts???

You're living in a vacuum. KW won't throw for 330 yards in a half again, unless he put us down by 3 or more scores. You don't throw the ball on every down when you are playing well. You do it to catch up. You can't not know this............................

See you are only seeing what you want to see....My thread said Warner didnt play as bad as it seemed. May be off may not be....But to come here and completly saying cut him, bench him, retire him...is saying he is the only reason why we lost...and by getting rid of him..we will win. His stats were damn good in the 2nd half....And this is after looking like the worst football player ever in the first half. A true champion is how you respond during adversity. I say throwing for 330 yds and cutting a 34 point lead to 13 3 times...is pretty damn overcoming.

He is the football equivalent of Jeckyl & Hyde.

Man...lol...there have been many a team down by alot of points who dont throw for 330 yds...or 471 yds in a game!!! I dont care if you are playing college. The point is he did it AFTER he is the one who played so poorly in the 1st half.

Lets see if this will help. Imagine Kobe...which he has done a few times. Was 0-19 from the field in the first half and he had 10 turnovers. And then in the 2nd half he goes for 20-24 with 3 turnovers....and scores 50 points and they lose by 8....Every fan would say Damn Kobe is a gamer....He willed himself to make us comeback. Warner almost willed us to comeback...He fell short.

Come on DCR I am objective... I said Warner sucked in the first half, I just happen to think the team as a whole sucked the first half. The Defense sucked all day long. If the D could have even pulled a KW and played great in the second half it would have been a much closer game never know. What I do know for a fact is the Defense didn't stop the Jets pretty much all day long yesterday. Do I think Leinart would have done better than Warner... no not really.

Im just saying his fumble was still crucial...and he is 1 player who usually doesnt fumble. Just saying there were other mistakes by our team. Just pointed out that was another 1.

Analogy alert: If you lose $1000 in the stock market one week and then rally for a $500 gain the next week you are still netting a loss.

I'd much rather have the consistent Warner from week 1 and 2 than the Jeckyl and Hyde Warner in week 4.

Completely agree....And of course if anyone here thinks Lienart would have done better...Well maybe ...only because it is hard to have 6 turnovers....But the thing is....Playing that badly and still tearing up the 2nd half as he did showed he is a competitor and will do whatever it takes to win. Funny thing is...If he has just 4 turnovers that whole game..which is still bad..we probably win!

Ahh Grass hopper...If only games were cumilative.....Warner's first half is over...It wont count in other games. ANd like I have said....us netting $500 in the 2nd half wasn't his fault. If the defense makes 2 stops the entire 2nd half...we might win.

The Jets thought that they had won the game at halftime (and guess what? They were right!). Their entire defense played differently in the second half, while they gave us the short to intermediate routes and basically played prevent. Of course they were happy to give up wholesale yards, the clock was their friend from before the first half ended. It was only when the score got within 13 points that they seemed to change their defensive intensity. Unfortunately, we had already dug ourselves into such a hole, and our D was running on fumes, that the Jets could basically sprint ahead any time they wanted.

To say, "Look how good Warner did in the second half!" as an argument shows a complete lack of understanding as how the Jets were playing against us. Warner only looked good to his fantasy owners.

I've purposely not posted since the game yesterday because I didn't want to be seen as saying "I told you so", but the only surprise I had yesterday was that it took until the 4th week for the past to repeat itself, instead of the 3rd like I originally thought it would.

You won't get anywhere with that argument.

Maybe lol...but he still had some exciting games...and he did get us to the playoffs. I still remember the Dallas game at home in 98..when we were down 28-7 at half and almost won....with the non call in the endzone on Rob Moore.

Ross Perot had facts and pie charts.

You're overlooking Warner's 1st half, in lieu of the second.

Hey don't go encouraging anybody to bring in pie charts. We had enough pie from Denny to last a lifetime.

You arguement only holds water if he had cut the lead 1 time and then after that...We were shut down. WE cut the lead to 13 points 3 times!!!! Meaning the Jets were like uh oh...they are only down 13 with 17 minutes left!!!! Holy crap...They go and score and Kurt takes us down not once not twice but 3 times in less than 3 minutes on each drive!!! 34-21, 41-28,48-35...I mean we scored 21 points in the 3rd quarter and 14 in the 4th.

Either you are purposely ignoring my posts or you have me on ignore because you have failed to respond to my ascertation that Warner gave them 17 points by himself and put the defense on a short field on four other occasions.

You continually beating up the defense after they are put in that position is like me getting mad at my house burning down but providing my kids with matches and kerosene. WTF did you exactly expect the defense to do? He fumbled or threw an INT on 7 different occasions.

The defense didn't play that great and the oline wasn't all world either. But I dare you to find me one other QB that causes us to lose the game like we lost it yesterday.

Warner is so prone to turnovers when things get tough it is comical.

Yes, until he does it again. It's not like this performance was a surprise really. Which Warner will we get next week? I feel a V-bookie coming on.........

Cards_Campos,

This loss is at the feet of everyone on the team except for our WR's and maybe our RB's. No, even our RB's because I saw Hightower miss some blocks. The only reason that most people are even trying to point out Warner's role in this fiasco is because you roll in here and try to absolve him of responsibility. He was guilty of what everyone's fear of him is, turnovers. Let it go. The Defense sucked. The OL sucked. So did Warner in the first half.

I knew the day Warner had a bad day...it would be feeding time. But like most said here before a starter was named....Whiz knows what he is doing. And he knew Warner might have aday like yesterday.....He did last year in Seattle....He doesnt play well in rainy stadiums...just a fact...look up his stas....4 turnover games have occured mostly in bad/wet weather.....But he still tied our franchise TD record last year...and he still is ranked in the top 5 in QB's...and Whiz said ..this wasn't his fault. Lienart doesnt get in unless we completely unravel or Kurt gets hurt. But the one positive thing....Kurt shook off all those Sacks without getting hurt. :)

Dude I am not ignoring you...I have said Warner sucked *&^ the first half...and he gave them numerous points the first half...My arguement is about how he played in the 2nd half.
