I like to have mccown in Az cause it will indicate a strong pursuing for a top prospect qb, and a starter from day 1

Just checked his stats from last season, and while they weren't all-world, they weren't horrible.

67% Completion, 7.4 YPA, 2.4% INT%, QB rating 94.5

He wouldn't be my first option as a one-year bridge option, but he wouldn't be the end of the world.

Yeah... if we actually draft a QB in round one, they ain’t spending a lot on a bridge QB. Josh would be fine for such a role until the rook takes over towards the mi/end of the season.

If this happens my Josh McCown autographed Cardinals football could actually be worth something!

Oh crap, there is also a Bill Gramatica signature on it; guess it'd still be worth nothing.

I was looking at his numbers the other day compared to cousins, they are practically identical.
Cousins stats from last season- 64.3 comp, 7.6 YPA, 2.3 INT%, QB rating 93. Yards per game are 255 KC vs 225 for Josh.

If the Cardinals sign McCown it may not be the wrong decision but it's almost like coming full circle.

It sure feels like starting over.

My son has an autographed game day ticket from the Miami game where he hit Larry for the game winning TD. We were guests of Q's Mom in Miami that day, what a great day it was.
