I am certainly pleased to see the Cards go 2-0, but few would have expected a poorer record at this point. The Saints just lost to Tampa at home, which says the Saints might be the league's worst team.
The Chcago game looked fairly marginal until Cutler went out. I think the Cards would have won anyway, but I was hoping for more dominance.
Nice to see they are using DJ in a wide array or plays. Also good to see them targeting Fitz. I'm still hoping to see more out of Floyd. Fells was invisible. It's clear the offense has better rhythm when Ellington plays. Palmer looked great.
The fiasco at the end of the first half was concerning.
In any case the next 2 weeks should tell us where the Cards stand. They should win at SF, but I'd probably be satisfied with getting out of STL with a healthy Palmer.
