Because you could then probably land a good QBOTVDF in round two or a small tradeup. One shall fall, and I'd even take Scud Mallett in the second or trade up into the bottom of the first for him.

That's how you light a fire under your starting crappy QB who takes this ish seriously...you tell the national media some undrafted shrimp that has naked photos of you was the best of four QBs you had in camp, essentially the reason you cut a guy who had been around for a while and had turned in decent outings.
