McBride is not a WR.
Oh sorry! Then I think you're probably correct DVontel! Dortch is a very capable YAC guy. Way better than Wilson and apparently MHJ.
McBride is not a WR.
If the conversation is “who’s having a good season but not in the running for MVP,” you are correct.
He’s not close to Lamar, Josh Allen, or Patrick Mahomes (who is undefeated so far).
I think you know this isn’t really true.I think the YAC issue has more to do with the QB than all his targets just being bad at running after the catch.
It would be very hard to win the award without getting meaningful national exposure while only leading the NFL in a fake stat like QBR.So the award will be given based on performance through week 10, got it.
I don’t. I think it’s a combination of Kyler not being a rhythm passer and wanting to see guys come open that makes it difficult to get YAC on downfield passes.I think you know this isn’t really true.
So, why do we barely call WR screens?I don’t. I think it’s a combination of Kyler not being a rhythm passer and wanting to see guys come open that makes it difficult to get YAC on downfield passes.
It would be very hard to win the award without getting meaningful national exposure while only leading the NFL in a fake stat like QBR.
Is he more deserving than Lamar, Josh Allen, Goff, or Mahomes?
He can be real good without being an MVP candidate.
Because we’re calling RB screens, and because teams don’t really blitz Kyler like that. So, why do we barely call WR screens?
If teams don’t really blitz Kyler like that then why do we call RB screens?Because we’re calling RB screens, and because teams don’t really blitz Kyler like that.
Waiting for those dudes to show back up to the thread.
You guys are still welcome to the debate thread.
When should we trade or release him?Kyler was great today, no doubt.
I'm not sure though why it's difficult to understand that he was not good 3, 4, 5 or 6 games ago and rightly got criticism for it. I'm glad he's getting better as the season goes on.
It's like going to a michelin star restaurant and you meat turns up raw, your potatoes are burnt and your veggies are rotten. Are you going to say "Well it's got 2 Michelin stars so it must be good" or are you going to say "This food is terrible"?
When he's great I will say he is great.
That right there has been the key for me, too. I wanted him to be consistent, and he has been consistently good. Yesterday, he was absolutely nails. Freaking awesome! Good for him--and good for us! And he now owns the franchise record for most consecutive completions.Hard to debate- Kyler gets an A++ today. That throw to MHJ in the end zone was magic. What he did on his feet just seemed unfair.
I’ve been a hater- but I asked for one thing- consistency and he has absolutely been doing that. He keeps playing like this and I’ll be a total convert.
lol Crow on, little birdie, crow on. Caw caw! lolYes, I was always right about Kyler. And yes, those that criticized that position were wrong. Carry on.
He really can't. It's all he knows.OR...
Their opinions were valid at the time and have possibly evolved.
I totally appreciate you being on this early. You can celebrate having a great day without the calls out
So is advocating to jettison a franchise QB after coming off a injury and a new scheme.retribution ASFN is peak ASFN
QBR is meaningless just ask the Never Murrays#2 QB in the NFL right now by QBR. Then take into account his rushing totals and TD. We can close the thread. Kyler is our QB.

He's been really good since getting DHOP.We need to have a separate thread about whatever is going on with Mahomes. He kind of sucks this year.
No doubt. He's been really good since getting DHOP.
