As they should against one of the 2 or 3 worst teams in the NFL…I don't know. Those stats in a convincing win look pretty good.

They look like what any solid QB should do to this terrible NE team and hardly “elite” like some would claim it is.I don't know. Those stats in a convincing win look pretty good.
Not even in theory. We need significant help AND to win out.I'll just take a win. I know it's unlikely but in theory we still control our own destiny. Win out and we win the division.
I don't think we will but until that's off the table that's what I'm pulling for
Payton did not want this team because of Kyler, Kyelr only swims in shallow kiddy pools and is afraid of the deep end. The smart play is to trade him for assets and line up for the 2026 DraftI'm sure there are some, I don't think it's nearly as many as you think. For one thing, Nix will be 25 in Feb, he's like 2 1/2 years younger than Kyler is. Normally when you're comparing a 6th year guy with a rookie one of the big advantages for the rookie is he's so much younger, but Nix is a VERY old rookie. The implication being he may have a higher floor, but very likely a lower ceiling.
Ask those same 30 NFL teams who would you prefer to run your offense, Sean Payton or Petzing, I'm betting you get 30 Sean Paytons
I will admit I was wrong about Watson, but I was also right about Kyler. The only difference is the Browns are probably going to cut bait and eat it. I think Kyler could be traded for little but at least somethingAdmittedly it's been awhile but we had an entire thread of people wanting us to get Watson at the time and arguing he was better than Kyler.
My argument had nothing to do with football, I didn't believe he was innocent and thought you can't rely on someone like that.
My man living in last week. We need to win out with helpI know it's unlikely but in theory we still control our own destiny
Russ… we need to win out - which we won’t - and then get massive help from BOTH Seattle and L.A.I know it's unlikely but in theory we still control our own destiny. Win out and we win the division.
Off topic but the saying is are you going to fish or cut bait. So getting rid of Watson would be fish and not cut bait??? I see that a lot on here and don't know why???I will admit I was wrong about Watson, but I was also right about Kyler. The only difference is the Browns are probably going to cut bait and eat it. I think Kyler could be traded for little but at least something
