Other than the terrible pick I thought he played ok. Given I've had a sinus thing for a week and they said Kyler had one before the game, I was kind of expecting him NOT to run much so that didn't surprise me.

He just has to stop making those dumb decisions though as I said in the game thread not only was it a pick, he could easily have gotten a concussion on that play.

I’m sorry but this is a really bad take… Fitz was maybe a WR4 on his last leg when kyler joined the team? Maybe?

How many games did Nuk miss due to hamstring issues and the suspension? When available the connection was great.

McBride just started coming along midway last year… when kyler was coming from his injury.

Connor is a RB and a great safety valve and screen play but nothing more than that as receiver.
The bottom line is he’s had more than enough talent to have continued success and make a legitimate charge for the playoffs. Arguing that the talent is lacking around him is just dishonest. Further, he doesn’t make anyone better. Is it coincidental that Christian Kirk had his best season with Trevor Lawrence?

Never said he was lol, you guys seriously read what you want to read. I said it was a ******** pass and QBs do that sometimes. They do it more when they constantly have to push to carry the lack of surrounding talent. Make sense? Love Trey dude actually gets open and Kyler finds him if others could do the same it would be tremendously helpful to this archaic OCs gameplan. Hit Marvin on beautiful slant yesterday for like 26 then our genius OC puts that play away and doesn’t run it again bc all day makes zero sense! Lots of issues I just simply don’t place them on one guy which a bunch of people like to do, just because of his paycheck. It’s ignorant and short sighted, why not blame the franchise sitting on cash when we need desperate upgrades all over?
You keep saying this. It’s wrong. Find another excuse.

For the Kyler fans: It's totally fine to demand that your #1 pick $50mil QB be a Top-5 player at his position and demonstrate that he can play in the postseason. I'll settle for Top-10 at this point. As it stands, he's in the same category as Geno Smith, Sam Darnold, and other mediocre QBs. You cant argue that he's better than guys like Tua, and that's a standard that he *absolutely* needs to hit

The Ayton comparison is pretty solid. Ayton could dazzle at times, he talked a big talk, looked pretty good on the stat sheet overall... he also shrunk in most big moments and when things got dicey in huge games he was a gutless quitter.

Murray is not there yet, but a lack of opportunity is the only reservation. We have 3 huge games coming up, if he does well he will host a playoff game. He's got every opportunity to reverse the narrative.

I actually do believe he is injured but doesn't excuse it

This is what I was trying to convey a few weeks back.

He clearly is lacking the burst he a couple months ago, he's banged up... but everyone gets banged up, if you cannot function when you're not 100% in the NFL, it's a serious problem.

Yeah real weird a Super Bowl mvp QB won here with more weapons than Kyler has ever been provided not to mention the excellent coaching by he had as well….
You give Kyler the same protection that Warner had, or lack thereof, and he'd be lucky to complete 50% of his passes. Warner was a master at facing down the pass rush and getting the ball out quickly. Kyler is...the opposite.
