Guys he doesn’t have the arm anymore. All the playcalling stuff and pocket vs rollout and Petzing and MHJ don’t matter if he can’t get the ball from point A to point B. It’s really that simple.

Okay maybe Mao, but can we get some kind of empirical evidence for this?

I'm not stamping my feet with my fingers in my ears but can we have at least some kind of data beyond "the eye test" that supports this?

Here's a big throw from 2020... Can Murray still throw the same ball?

Here's the highlight reel from this year's Rams game.. Idk guys.. his arm looked okay in this year's game from week two. He had plenty on the scramble throw to MJH for the touchdown. And a lot on the off-balance scramble throw to MHJ on the sideline too.

Edit - even his legs looked more live in the week two highlights... Since they bye, his running has not looked normal.

There's a universe where things get really ugly in ARZ next season SoonerLou.

I don't think it's likely, because I think overall the roster will get better. We'll tweak the Oline and WR room a little. MHJ will surely be better in 2025, Schedule won't be so tough, etc.

But we (on the board) knew it was a thing since 2020, and now I bet you a million dollars it gets talked about to death in the offseason. Next year if Murray doesn't play better in critical/pressure situations, they'll bench him, and then everything will descend into chaos.
What makes you think the 2025 schedule gets easier? Just curious because we're supposed to be in the easy part of this years schedule and how that working out for us?

If it turns out he's hurt I won't be stunned. I think he still has the straight ahead burst but the side to side lateral stuff has not been there for weeks. Even today on that run where he stopped and cut back for the first down, it was only because the guy chasing him totally overran it, it was nothing like the lateral quickness he had in the past.

The arm I definitely think is true, he just doesn't seem to have the gun he used to have
If true and he's hurting the team he shouldn't be out there playing. I for one don't buy the injury thing as this is who Kyler is, and has been for quite some time. Is he banged up ? Probably, but who isn't this time of year. There's a different between injured and hurt. Pretty much everyone playing is hurt but the injured are in the sidelines.

I mean I think statistically this year we've had like the hardest schedule of anyone in the league.

Surely we revert back closer to the median in 2025 right?

In the first clip “Petzing will get head coaching interest! His offense is dynamic!”

In the second clip “Petzing sucks, 1 dimensional, not creative.”

Makes ya think..

It's not over yet. But the fat lady is warming up.
I think you believe that because you see her in the wings of the stage not realizing you missed her performance. That fat lady has now sung, finished her performance, and is sitting back watching them deconstruct the staging at this point.

I mean it’s incredible just how short he threw that interception. It’s not 5 yards short, it’s likely 20 yards short from where kyker should’ve lead Wilson.

One would hope, but we're so inconsistent, what is the mean? I think Kyler is a mid QB and we have a mid record. So I think we're at the mean now.

I mean I basically agree with you. I think we'll probably win at least eight games next year with K1 at QB. Enough for him to keep his starting job (at least until the end of the year).

I'm saying if we go 1-5 to start the season (again unlikely) they'll bench Murray and it will be pandemonium on Hardy Drive.

6.3 YPA yesterday a full yard below his season average. Just zero juice.
He’s Sam Bradford with wheels… that he’s too afraid to use to his best abilities.

In fact, he even had that quintessential Sam Bradford moment against NE last week after that atrocious interception that was called back. Kyler fell forward, then dropped his head on the turf, hands held up to helmet, like… not again.

It was the same reaction Bradford had against the Bear on his last turnover with us that literally ended his career. Fumbled, fell face forward. Dropped his head on the ground, hands to helmet.

I mean, I don’t have a radar gun with me at the games but when you go to a baseball game, you can see the difference between the guy who throws 87 and the guy who throws 99

He took a big hit in the Jets game if I recall correctly. He hates getting hit and is soft and he hasn’t been the same since that game. Dude will not take hits and has become jittery…even more than normal. I don’t think he is injured any more than any other player this time of year. I think he is scared

No I agree he's not throwing as hard as his rookie year (which was wow).

I'm just saying had enough arm in week two of this year. I think that's fair.

I think it's also fair to say his arm looked questionable yesterday.

I'm not phoo phoo'ing what you're saying Mao. I'm just trying to keep the debate somewhat grounded in reality.

His arm looks fine, too high 80% of the time tho. His legs have looked bad since the bye, but ok yesterday.

I hate when you ask basic questions about what you see some posters try to pigeonhole you into defending or blasting K1. I gaf, I just want to know WHY he isn't looking right and whether it is physical or mental. The K1 split on the board is frustrating. Can't we talk about this dude non black and white at all?

He's the reason we lost the most important game of the season, flat out, Seattle at home. He wasn't the reason we lost yesterday, that was on the defense. He f up with the INT late, but the D was ATROCIOUS. If we can't say anything about a game outside Kyler, we are being stupid, IMO.
