They would be:

Ravens
Minnesota
Eagles
Lions

QBs that lift their team:

Mahomes
Allen
Lamar
Burrow
Stafford
I apologize. I mistakenly thought you said Kyler would "create equal or better results" for the Ravens in place of Lamar Jackson. And Goff in Detroit. And Hurts in Philly. Darnold in Minny? Eh...

Thanks for a straightforward answer. I think Kyler would excel with the Eagles, but I don't know if they're better than they are with Hurts. Specifically, Kyler doesn't have the short-area toughness that's a keystone for that offense.

I also think that Kyler's limitations as a rhythm passer would cause him to be better than Jared Goff, who is essentially Madden AI on All-Pro level at this point.

Similarly, I don't know if Kyler has the discipline to play in the Shanahan system in Minnesota. Maybe they could tailor something for him.

LOL Kyler with the Ravens.

My new favorite part of this thread is, I have ignored 602. So I get to see all of your arguments at him completely out of context. It's actually quite satisfying.
And you know exactly what he's saying by the replies lol

Those many other options have just as much chance of failing as the one.

What's the average hit rate on an FA signing over $10m? 1 in 3 maybe? And the draft is what? 1 in 6? More or less depending on round.

So we'd have to bring in roughly 15 new players between FA and the draft to be reasonably assured of getting 3-4 quality starters. That's a lot of money wasted.

Whereas a good QB will elevate the team and you need to invest less around him to make up for his shortcomings.

This franchise, and the fanbase, is doing everything it possibly can to ignore the fact we need to move on. The longer we do the worse it gets. I agree it's not this year, the draft sucks, so Kyler gets another chance, but if the pattern continues it's time for him to go.

Personally, as the QB market is so bare this year and there are several desperate teams I'd move him while his value is high and bring in Tannehill, Wilson, Jimmy G, Malik Willis, Fields, Mac Jones or Pickett for a year.

Now I'm lost. We have a 142 page thread about how much Kyler sucks and you're now saying we should trade him while "his value is high?" WTF?

I assume you mean while the QB market is so bare that it makes him more valuable but if he's as bad as you've spent 142 pages saying he is, there's no way his value is "high".

I guess it's possible there's a GM out there who thinks Kyler's struggles in high pressure situations can be fixed (While at the same time MO concludes they cannot).

I'm actually holding my breath a little leading up to the start of the new league year (the de facto trade deadline for K1).
