The toughest I've seen Kyler play was the 1st half of 2020. So unafraid to run, willing to run double digit time. I remember either me or someone else making a thread about Kyler bulking up too much that its impacting his throwing.

Then he hurt his shoulder trying to run over a DB and we've never seen that level of aggression again.

Its possible for Kyler to be very successful. However, he's gotta be willing to carry the ball 8 to 10 times like Jayden and Hurts. However, as K9 said he just doesn't have that short area toughness.

Lack of toughness and small is such a bad combination in the NFL. It leads to inconsistency.
This is a spot on post.. if he’s not running 8+ a game then he will never reach his potential.

you can bring up 87 different quarterbacks while lying your ass off - and daniels will still have more playoff wins than kyler murray - try to keep up

I don’t need to bring up 87.

The 3 I brought up gagged in the playoffs yet you were telling me they were upgrades over K1.

They aren’t.

Keep building the team MO.

Is there anyone that denies that K1 is way better when he can both run and pass in games?

We don’t control play calls and scheme.

I know who does though.

So, the problem wasn't Kliff's offensive scheme.
Imo...it was...for Kyler.

When his physical limitations would limit him from throwing over the middle/dealing with pressure Kiiff needed to pivot. When defenses got a read on him they needed to counter with a power rushing attack/play action from under center.

I've said this but despite K1s flaws I'll wonder if we'll look back and wonder was the new offense an over correction.

Now again maybe K1 would still screw it up in the 2nd half of the season. I just would have thought from watching his 2019-2022 film JG would see that he sorta needs that mix of uptempo (when its effective) and at least some screen passes to Wrs.

Where I cant defend Kyler, anymore, is that he wants this offense. He loves Petzing and believes its good that he doesn't have to carry an offense (which is reasonable...but looks bad when watching Jayden Daniels carry the Commanders).

We’re just not meant to be a successful franchise.

Bidwill the owner.
Keim missing on damn near every first rounder.
Draft(after trading up) Rosen. Only 1st round QB to not be in the league anymore.
Draft a QB the next year who is just okay enough to keep us in purgatory.
Trade out of a great/damn near elite pass-rusher for a solid LT.
Draft the 3rd best WR in his class.
Our old HC wins a SB at his next stop in Tampa.

There’s so much more, but damn man, lol. Smh.

That's on Kyler to embrace that. He started drinking the Drew Laid about how he doesn't need to carry an offense (with his legs) and try to takeover games.

I’d agree he shares the blame.. but you also just pointed out the other part of the problem with that equation in not dialing it up/mandating that kyler do it as the orchestrator of the offense - PetzTard

If MHJ really becomes just the 3rd best WR of the class then we truly are cursed, lol.

No need to rekindle the nightmares of the failure that this organization is.

We still have the same scouts of the Keim years.
Im less concerned about MHJ. I am concerned we missed out on Bucky Irving and Jalen McMillian. They were there for the taking in round 3. I also think we could have done something other than DROB in round 1 cause he would have been available in round 2 imo.

Now I'm lost. We have a 142 page thread about how much Kyler sucks and you're now saying we should trade him while "his value is high?" WTF?

I assume you mean while the QB market is so bare that it makes him more valuable but if he's as bad as you've spent 142 pages saying he is, there's no way his value is "high".

Yeah, it was pretty clear, so clear you figured it out yourself.

Brian Thomas trade up would and should have been the play.. 3rd most expensive position in football locked up on rookie contracts - only draw back would be you have an OC running a 1960’s offense, thus we wouldn’t know how to utilize 2 elite WRs

I didn't want to come out and say it...but yes.

That was very much on the table. MHJ the chain mover and BTJ the deep threat. And I know people hated the idea of it, but lets hope this isn't 2020 vibes all again (Simmons over Lamb). Wirfs obviously was the bigger need, but Lamb would have still been a great pick over IS as well. Or in round 2 of 2019 you get AJ Brown and DK Metcalf (or Terry McLaurin). Kyler starts off his career with a loaded WR room.

Again I think DROB would have been there in round 2. If not him then Johnny Newton. But I knew we were too scary to do that.

Daniels using up all his beginners luck this season.

Cinderella will be changing back to a pumpkin soon, just like last year's sure fire, can't miss, future Hall of Famer, CJ Stroud.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize Stroud made the conference championship game.

And CeeDee Lamb?
Who Murray basically went on Every platform to beg Keim to draft? You seem to be missing the Forrest for the Trees ! ! Great on you to want to bash but what Exactly does Murray have to do with the fact that this organization has struggled, and the FACT that the ONLY time players and coaches get any respect is when they leave..
By being a Checkdown Charlie choke artist. I'm sorry, that was a question, right?

Hopefully last post on this thread ! !
Have you wondered why the NFL talking heads and the NFL insiders are linking a Murray trade to the Steelers ( For Fields, or Wilson ) or, the Vikings ( For J.J McCarthy ) So hard ! ! Both are Playoff teams ! !
Now I'm sure someone will respond with a comment or link about a trade to the Browns or a lesser team but my question is valid.
Are we missing the Forrest for the trees? Keim had a drinking problem. You would be insane to think Bidwill didn't know ( Not when you have that much money at stake ). Budda Baker is a pro bowler, Kyler Murray is a pro bowler, Trey Mcbride is definitely pto bowl material. I'm just wondering if these guys will get their props, or flowers, when they leave the Cardinals ! !
Where were you when Kyler was sucking donkey dong and why are you only crawling back out when teams with good QBs are losing in the playoffs?
