Would stix maybe be a decent option he is ok at def
He’d get destroyed in the post by gasol. His slim lower body can’t hold against that mountain. And he’d be a loss at the offensive end right now.

This is where we really miss a long PF who could guard him the post. He’s just too big for a crowder or cam Johnson.

Craig and Mikal are long enough to guard Gasol, but I do think our plan should be to have Ayton primarily deal with him if/when he gets inside the arc.

It’s crazy how much the media narrative has spun between Games 3 and 4.

I would be surprised if it had not spun this much. The Lakers were massive series favorites before Game4, and they are now slight dogs.

Windhorst expects high level of play from the Suns tonight. Basically said on the jump “show us what you got”! Got me pumped.

Don't get me wrong. Would love to see it but highly doubtful. I would expect he likely would tease you then fizzle.

Lebron will be putting it all on his "shoulders" tonight.

I say play him straight up, alternate Bridges and Crowder. Let him put up 60 points if he wants.

Just don't leave the 3 point shooters, don't let the other Lakers beat us.

Is that the way to play it?

Yep. Still, we can't relax. At all. LeBron has never lost a first round series to this point. On the other hand, it's going to happen sometime. Why not now?

My understanding is that the Suns are 2 to 1 to win the series right now in Vegas.

I'm not sure about that. I might be more apt to double him and let the other Lakers try to beat us. Maybe try one strategy and if it's not working, switch to the other.

Casual basketball fan here.... pulling for the Suns big time. My granddaughter called me a few days ago and asked if CP was going to be ok and would Ayton be able to get rebounds... lol. She knows way more about the team than I do. She also asked me if I would buy her a Booker jersey.

She also loves Drake from State Farm.

Go Suns!

I kind of agree. Lakers don’t have a lot of creators other than Davis and schroder. With Davis out let Lebron go nuts offensively (obviously try to slow him) but keep your defensive integrity on everyone else.

It hasn't changed that much.

Most everything I am seeing is Lebron is going to decide to become superhuman and carry the Lakers to victory.

They act like he is still in his prime fully heathly and has been holding back all series just to toy with the Suns. What kind of mental gymnastics is that?
