He will become super human if the refs call it that way. Also, he’s clearly healthier than at the beginning of the series.

Consider me sceptical.

I don't see why if he could just turn it on, it didn't happen in the second half of the last game.

It did happen, our lead was evaporating quickly and thankfully the Lakers ran out of time. LeBron was attacking the basket with layups and dunks.

Can he sustain that for a whole entire game? Probably not, which is why it comes in spurts.

Starting to get nervous for a Suns game for the first time in a decade.

I've never read a Cardinals game day thread but there is lots of love, hate, ref bashing, second guessing the coach, fear, confidence, its fun. I recommend it.

Also its smaller, less people but the playoffs have increased the number of participants.

the Cards game day thread is all out war on everything and everyone on it.

Yeah, you’re wrong here. I actually know two different business that have some nexus with Magic and he’s apparently involved quite a bit at high decision making levels. Particularly for businesses starting up in socioeconomic lower neighborhoods.

I have no problems believing this. I think sometimes people forget there's more than one kind of "smart".

Ayton can’t let down if AD is out! This is your moment big man. Bring It home on both ends of the floor!

Really? We had a 4 point lead at half time and won the game by 8. If that's an example of him taking over, I'm not very scared.

Lebron is given way too much credit at this point in his career.

I just want to see us continue to shoot the ball hopefully Crowder is officially out of the slump.

The one thing I'm worried about in this game is I think the Lakers may make a concerted effort to get Ayton in foul trouble.

They rightly see him as the biggest impediment towards James driving to the basket repeatedly.

LeBron had 30 in eight playoff games last year, and 40 in one. In several of the 30+ games he also had 10+ assists.

With how well LA defends and the pace they play at, those are huge numbers.

I would not underestimate him quite yet.

we were up 18 with 7:30 left in the fourth a d he pretty much cut it 7 by himself with 2 minutes left and the Lakers had the ball with a chance to cut to 5. Then CP3 made that huge steal on the Gasol pass. But no doubt he was charging hard and we couldn’t stop him until that play followed by the Jae dagger from 3 that basically ended the game.

Gasol was also a major factor in 18–>7.

He has weaknesses we can exploit, but I’m not exactly thrilled he is the consolation prize if AD cannot play.

More on Anthony Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Mind games on AD playing?

One thing I have not seen anyone articulate is whether there are degrees of “grade 1 groin strains” and where AD’s falls on that spectrum. It is possible he has a very minor grade 1 and could be nearly ready to go tonight. They wouldn’t want to rule him out only for him to feel better after pre-game treatment. It’s obviously possible this is a mind game, but I doubt it.

I'm of the opinion, only believe half of what we hear.

That being said, the systemic nature of the lower-body chain, and AD being compromised in two locations on it, makes me highly doubt he plays tonight.

It could be Anthony Davis wants to give it a try much like Chris Paul.
